Can I ask ed 01 what do you think of ndiaye? I think he can go all the way to the top, could easily play for Barcelona or Madrid. Similar to coutinho but with pace? Or am I dreaming ed.
{Ed001's Note - he is very good, but not sure he is quite that good. It is possible as he has the technical ability but it is the mental side of things that worries me with him. His movement off the ball and defensive work are both in need of improvement. The main issue though is his end product, which can be a little hit and miss as his decision making is not the best. It really does come down to the coaching he receives.}

Thanks for the reply seems like we signed an absolute gem for the price.
{Ed001's Note - very much so mate. It is interesting that he was the one player that still looked a player under Dyche.}

He will improve under Moyes and Irvine. In fact I believe a lot of the squad will improve now we have changed the management set-up.

Completely agree BlueMike.

Ndiaye has been the shinning light this season so far. But to Say Barcelona or Madrid is bit of a stretch. He wouldn't be a starter for City, Liverpool, Arsenal, probably add Newcastle, Villa, Chelsea.
I hope he stays with us as we improve long into the future though, he definitely excites the fans and produces on the pitch.

i love Ndiaye and it's a brilliant signing
but i think it's more telling how starved EFC have been of exciting players on the ball, that we all think Ndiaye is going to be one of the best in the world
again he's absolutely brilliant, but i don't think he starts for a number for a no. of PL clubs, never mind Barca/ Madrid
he's stepped it up recently again, but again EFC have been missing it that long that they haven't realised likes of Bournemouth/ Brighton/ Forest have gained these sort of players in recent years. this isn't a ground breaking thing for EFC, just finally playing catch up.

I think he'd have started games for any team in the Prem this season. There's a very good argument that if he'd not been playing under Dyche for the season, his output would be higher. He seems to have thew confidence to continue improving. Let's hope so eh?

Whilst I understand what every single person has said on this thread, I think the lad starts or challenges for any team in the PL. That may be down to that position not exactly being blessed with a wealth of top class players currently but ability wise he is as good as Trossard/ Martinelli, Gakpo/ Diaz, Doku/ Grealish, Sancho/ Neto for me.
I don't get carried away by players but the most impressive thing about Ndiaye for me is his composure with the ball. Obviously there will be occasions where the wrong decision is made, as is the case with anybody playing in the attacking positions but when he is in the middle third or close to, his ability to retain possession and pick out the right pass, little subtle manipulations of the ball or his body shape is top quality.
I think Ed is absolutely spot on with regards to his end product. Although we have seen some moments of brilliance e. g. Ipswich, City and Spurs, there are occasions where he is wasteful. I imagine this is something that he can improve as he is only 24 and at least he has the technical ability to execute different types of finishes, it is just a case of being more consistent and making it the norm.
I don't agree with the call on his defending though. His defensive numbers are through the roof for a wide player and his energy and commitment to work back for the team is refreshing and infectious.
This lad is only going to get better with age and also when the players around him increase in quality. This is his 1st season in top flight football and he is more than comfortable.
As someone rightly said, he managed to shine playing for one of the most negative managers that has ever lived and a poor Everton side. We have already seen him take another step up under Moyes. I think if you put him in the likes of City, Liverpool or Arsenal you'd see 5x the player.
Looking forward to seeing Trent try to deal with him soon.

The lad reminds me of Duncan McKenzie. Every time he got the ball you were on the edge of your seat. But could also be really frustrating as well.

I meant potential bunk beds like 3/ 4 years time.
