When DCL returns to full fitness, please, there should be no possibility of dropping Beto, whilst I understand the imperitive to get DCL to sign a contract extension, but Beto has proved that given the service he can deliver the goods, and I don't just mean goals, his all round display today proves he really is a player.

I don't want him to sign a new contract. He's overpaid and if we can keep Beto, Chermiti progresses and we can sign another in the summer.
Don't want to go back to the lump it up for Dom so he can control it and then fluff his one on ones tactics.

It is much easier to learn to use your body to good effect, to hold the ball up than it is to learn how to be a finisher mate.
I saw an improvement tonight tbf and he was up against 3 very strong lads.

I wonder if DCL would be scoring more now we aren’t playing Dycheball…
The shirt should be Beto’s until Dom can come on as a sub and start banging them in to show he deserves to start. It would be good having some competition up front but I think DCL will be off on a free to Newcastle in the summer and we’ll be hunting for another forward.
