First game I’ve missed for a while, was it terrible.
{Ed025's Note - we huffed and puffed for most of the game Bobby and the lack of quality especially in the final third was very telling, when he changed it with the subs it was miles better mate...just a bit too late imo..

Moyes said he hadn't seen much of Chermiti which is fair enough. So as we have nothing to lose play him till the end of the season see what he can do.

I think it's time to recalculate my points tally for the bottom 3. For a few months now I've been saying they'll be lucky to get 28 points. I think they'll be lucky to get 22 points now. We have been incredibly fortunate to choose a period in EPL history where the bottom 3 clubs have been miles off it. Unfortunately this probably only adds fuel to the Americans ideas of reducing to EPL to 18 clubs. The gulf is now huge and it's going to take some crazy investment for a promoted side to make it stick. Won't be our problem from next season onwards but we have been very lucky with our timing. Would have been relegated with our points totals of recent times. I'm glad of every point and see only the good in what DM has done. Sure the last few games since the derby have been slightly dour but our squad is together and we always score and have a resilience quality that even with minutes to go, I expected us to score. Something to get behind and I'm not going to write off this season yet. Broja looks way off match and psychological fitness but minutes will help and I'd love to see him get some goals. Chemiti looks like a winger to me but having him back will add some live wire qualities to our attack. Think Lindstrom will now be on bench as you have to have Alcaraz even if we play him out of position. Harrison well we all see it but he's definitely trying to get his game moving he just lacks the talent at this level but he's playing notably better than under SD. I'd be chuffed with 45 points and a positive goal for and against record would be nice too.
