Watched Peter reid doing a interview yesterday about his time at everton never seen him play but have watched him on toutube looked one hell of a player but anyways to cut to the story he was asked about a match at anfield that he played in and he won a tackle later in the match against john Barnes and he said he was getting pelters but he said it's part of football but as he was by the advertising board he was getting stick and as he turned round it was his uncle in the crowd who was a red never laughed so much ??.
{Ed001's Note - I remember him saying about signing for Everton and he was too scared to tell his dad. So instead, he told his mother first and then hid while she told his dad!}

Quality player and a funny man. An integral part of the greatest Everton team I've had the pleasure to watch in the flesh mate.

Well you missed out on seeing a great player. Yes he could graft but he could play too. Was a born winner was Reidy, and he didn't hold back if others weren't pulling their weight. God how I miss those days.

He was a proper player, would love to have him now, he’d walk into a lot of Prem sides.
