Up to 14th in the league 100% of us would have taken that with open arms and a good haul of points after the Dyche reign, Moyes has come in and kept us up which was the goal for Everton, yeah we had a crappy draw today and it was a typical end of season game with holidays in mind no doubt, but one swallow doesn't make a summer and once he gets some recruits of his own in and several others leave we have a far better chance of having a vastly improved Team next season, looking forward to it myself.

GB you are forever the optimist and I salute you for that. But the honeymoon is firmly over. After 11 years with us last time round he got us to an average of 6th in the league.
Personally I’m not happy with that. I want more!
So as a stability exercise he’s the one. Beyond that, no way.
I’m not expecting anything more than 10th next season. And that’s a push if you ask me.
We need to be realistic.

One step at a time lads, Moyes has done the job he was asked to do, move on next season.

Remember people saying Dyche has done the job he was asked to do. But that was it, that was his limit. Be interesting to see what people are saying about Moyes come next year.

FFS! I know this an opinion site but many blues need to get real! We r (on goal difference a point or two) the worst team in PL regardless of staying up by 16+ points! )
Yet, some are already having a go at Moyes (our saviour this season) and making it sound top 10 even top 6 next season is a failure!
Get real, today showed how poor r squad never mind first 11 really is.
Every team in PL will strengthen and most have funds equal or beyond us so reality is a new ANAZUNG stadium BUT keep your feet on ground.
Top 10 never mind top 6 (Europe) next season would be a miracle?

I’m with you Ed, I’ll reserve further judgement until
I see who leaves and who comes in, quietly confident that we’ll have a better squad by the first game of the season.

I love this page so much.
Davey came in, played better football and easily made us safe within weeks but yet we still expect more.
Imo he deserves two full summer windows before he gets the squad that he wants. If he can get us 10th next season them I'd be happy. Progression at a sensible rate is what we need after the last decade.
I don't know who other Blues would want as manager but there ain't many Peps in the world unfortunately.

Started a bit early but it happens every year. I would be very pleased if next year we accomplish top 10 but we have to be realistic. As for the Squad, he will keep the majority, much to the wonder coaches and managers chagrine on here. ?.

Think I will screenshot these replies because i am pretty sure the same was said about Dyche this time last season.
