Just seen a video from yesterday of Delap going into a everton supporters house and signing the wall where other current and former everton players have signed.

Delap is exactly the type of striker we need. Big strong and doesn't mind getting stuck in. At 22 he can only get better.
Our best No9s have always been in this mould, Royle, Latchford, Grey and Lukaku. All strong players, and all took no crap from defenders. This kid is in that mould, and is already way better than anything we currently have.

Oh I was positive he was mentioned during the game yesterday. If he's injured then that's why I thought he was anonymous during the game lol. The 2 wingers look good for Ipswich though. Omari Hitchinson and the lad who scored their goal. But I think he's a Brighton player so doubt they will sell him. when we play against teams who have forward thinking, dynamic in possession type wingers, we always seem to struggle against them. Patterson has struggled at RB in past few games but he's got a decent cross on him. Maybe putting him on as a RM in games would be best for him. He's slow on the turn so when a winger goes past him he can't get back good enough to stop crosses. Walker Peters or Lamptey from Brighton would be good additions to the defense. Or give Dixon more chances in pre season.
