I know this won't be to many people's liking because he doesn't get the juices flowing but if we can get Longstaff in for 12 million, I would be all over that.
We need to replace a lot of players and if we can do that for fees like this and a decent level of player, it makes perfect sense.

couldn't have been paying that much attention seeing as he's never played with Longstaff
unless Zlatan secretly played for Newcastle, Kilmarnock or Blackpool at some point without anyone noticing.

I think it was Tonali that said he's the most underrated player he's played with.
I think for the money, he could be a good signing, solid squad player!

I think he is one of those signings that won't get the fans too excited but would definitely do a job for us. Available at a decent price for a player with his top flight experience as well.

Not a bad player, but not the step up in class we desperately need, middle of the road jerney man, and if that is our hight of our ambition is mid table safety, he will do fine, but surely, BMD, new owners, and real spending power, we must be aiming higher.

Small steps to get to those heights though, psg. We can't expect us to be battling the so called big six after one or two transfer windows by throwing money at it. We've already been down that road and we almost imploded.
{Ed025's Note - one thing is for certain BP we are not going to suddenly become a top 6 team overnight, its going to take time mate and probably longer than a lot of people expect, PSR will be a factor and introducing a plethora of players into a team seldom works, it will be slowly slowly catchee monkey i think..
