Ok, now it's done at Old Lady who was the best Everton player to touch her turf?
My old man claims Alan Ball for me it was Bug Nev. I saw Ball play when he was old and unfit in a testimonial and his first touch was still the best I'd ever seen.
Over to u fellow blues.
Latchford, Reidy, the Golden Vision? Best u ever saw live so please no Dixie shouts!
{Ed025's Note - ball/latchford for me PHH, i cant split them mate..

That midfield line of Kendall, Harvey, Ball was phenominal. Ball had some engine and I was a midfielder (right across) so it is Ball for me. Bit of an unfair question though because a case could be made for many many.

Ok, I’ll say Big Nev and Tricky Trev if I’m allowed 2!
Your best 2 ever then fellow blues?

Being left footed I'm saying sheedy big dunc was good aswell even today he's having a dig at manu when commentating with jags saying they used to be a big club.

Big Nev. what a player.

Sheeds was so close for me! Love the guy, great to see him on turf today! Those 2 retaken free kicks by sheedy v Ipswich best thing I ever saw in my life!
“Ok I’ll just put it in the other corner “.

Alex Young and Alan Ball. Sorry I can't split them.

Loved big Nev growing up. truly outstanding players were Rooney and Kanchelskis, then came Baines my favourite ever player.

For me Rooney leaves a bad taste going to Utd so early, loved Kanchekskis. Remember being at Anfield in main stand surrounded by reds when he scored 2 and silenced them all! Also remember watching a FA cup final LFC v ANO team and me and fellow blues had them in a Newcastle city centre pub singing Andre Andre Kanckelskis and doing silly Russian knee bend dances as both fans wanted LFC to lose
AND THEY DID - great times.

Am only 35 me so unfortunately I didn't see these legends but in my opinion my favorite player who I enjoyed watching was Tim cahill man was a beast with scoring headers remember was either at anfield or goodison where agger an skirtel both man marked him and he still scored from a corner but also have say big rom aswell he was just a bully and we never had chance replace him since leaving but think he scored 84 goals in 120 games if am correct during time with us.

Sheffield Wednesday at home won 5-1 Alex Young scored a hatrick and that was me hooked. The guy was pure class.
18 May 2025 22:06:58
Rooney for me, that 16 year old was fearless and took no prisoners, he went on to become a true great.

Kevin sheedy all day long for me.

If it wasn’t for his long injury I think Bracewell would be mentioned in this thread. My goodness he looked the real deal before his injury.

Ultimately agree with Ed though. Big Nev and Latchford.
