Ed's just curious if there is any serious interest in Tyler Dibling from PL clubs please?
I think there are always decent players to steal from relegated sides or lower league teams in general. As long as you take the best players, you can actually add them in over time and build a decent side.
You only have to look at who are at the lower teams in the PL to attest to that - Wissa, Mbuemo, Schade, Dibling, Delap, Hutchison, Cunha, Larsson, Gomes, Alt-Nouri, Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus, JB, Ndiaye/
We are already looking at the likes of Delap this summer but I think we would be better spending our money on young Dibling. He would solve a more problematic position on the right side. Can easily play on either flank or the 10 and even as a wing back. He is 3 years younger than Delap and imo a bigger talent that will surpass him.
Whilst I am aware that some want better than Beto in the 9, the hole on the right is greater. Having Ndiaye/ Alcaraz/ Dibling in behind sounds brilliant.
The lads ball carrying abilities are similar to Nidaye but he is naturally blessed with more speed and a bit more physicality. The ability to play on the counter down either flank would cause so many teams problems. You only have to look at the success Forest had last year with that approach.
Add someone in deeper positions like a Hamer or a Diarra with Idrissa or alike and things look even more promising.
Really looking forward to this summer. Such a good opportunity to fly up the league if we make the right decisions.
{Ed025's Note - lots of teams are looking at Dibling BN, i just dont think we could afford him mate because the big boys will come in for him im sure..

Cheers Ed! That’s a shame. If we carry on the same form or better under Moyes next season, which I believe is top 8 since he came in, maybe it could be a different story.
Going to be some player mate.
{Ed025's Note - hes very talented BN, at the moment hes a big fish in a small pond though mate and it could be a different story at a bigger club, but saying that hes well worth a punt..

Yep reading same Ed, talk of upwards of £80million which is absolutely bonkers if anywhere near true, but like us with JB the saints will want cash in maximum, if clubs are prepared to pay what can you do.
Agree with BlueNose, would be a great addition and reminds me of a young Jack Grealish when he actually enjoyed his football and freedom to actual play.
{Ed025's Note - yeah Mocker we cant blow anything like that on one player mate..

Spot on Mocker, i thought the same thing when i was mulling the thought of signing him over. Moves exactly like him.
I heard that the fee was around the 50m mark, which is still astronomical but I guess that is the way the game is now.
I think wherever he goes, he will go onto become a PL mainstay and a top quality player Ed.

First time I heard of him was when he played against us.

I wasn't impressed at all when we played Southampton. He was anonymous and in fact thd only time I heard his name all natch was when he was getting replaced in 2nd half. Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich would be someone I'd be looking to sign.

After playing a full season in the PL, in a side bereft of any quality, losing nearly every week and amassing one of the lowest points totals in history. I imagine as an 18 year old lad, by game 37, you would be a bit dejected by the situation.
Judging him off the one game against us would be a miscalculation imo.
18 years of age, playing against men and not looking out of place physically is a great positive in itself. The fact that he then has the guile and ability to breeze past PL players at the same time shows me the level of talent the lad has.
As Ed pointed out, there is a reason that the big clubs are sniffing around him mate.
Some talent and only 18 years young.
People right point out Harrisons shortfalls on the wing, especially putting fullbacks to the sword. This lad is the polar opposite.
