Where did you read that GB?

Not sure anyone read his recent interview. It made me sit up and realise how much his injuries affected him mentally. He's given everything he can on the pitch for us and tried his best.
Any player saying they sat on the floor crying because he couldn't be on the pitch to help the team deserves respect.
I for one think he's only ever handled himself in the right way and if he does go I wish him the very best of luck.

I remember when SD arrived and DCL was out injured all the press asking when is he back and that was due to mental health i believe and nothing physical. SD always replied he isn't far away just not ready at the minute and things take time. but must be hard earning in a week what i earn in 3 years so sorry my heart doesn't bleed for him. we all have problems.

To be fair, a few managers didn't help his cause by bringing him back too early and he kept breaking down. SD refused to rush him back when he arrived but I think the damage had already been done by then. He gets a lot of stick but that's modern footballing for you really, people are too quick to judge. I wish him well for his next chapter ??.

Any player sitting on the floor crying should have been helped.

It’s a sad storey and I hope things work out for him… just as long as he doesn’t sign for someone and scores a few against us!

I don’t think mental health should be measured by income. Money is not the answer to happiness. We don’t know what goes on behind closed doors but we should trust the opinions of those who do.
If he stayed and got back to the form he had under Ancilotti then I would be made up. The football community, with its riches is a monster that I’m not sure provides the most stable environment for young footballers to thrive.

The only constant quality work that SD did (praising this guy's is hard) was his handling of injuries and players recoveries. He'd have made a World class head of fitness and defensive coach.
{Ed025's Note - the thing is FBS, its no use having fit and defensively aware players if we were in the Championship mate, he is getting no praise from me because thats where we were heading under him..
