Wondering what thoughts are on the pay we can or should expect for Grealish on loan? Can't see us paying 300K can't see Man City loaning him and subsidising 150K a week. Thoughts?

They'll either sell him or loan him. In Cities worst case, if they don't sell him and he's still there with days to go of the window then a heavily subsidised loan could be an option but the player needs to start making noise that he won't be sitting on the bench for another season especially with England so easy for older players to reignite their international careers. Lots of clubs have loaned players and paid the heavy end of the wages to make it happen when a club wants rid but can't sell. Or of course they simply keep him. It's not a big deal for them financially I'd bet. Personally I can't see him here and dismiss the headlines. My money's on a reunion with Villa.

Probably true but if not too expensive would like to see him with Ndiaye and even Alcaraz. Would be a good bit quicker on attack.

I'd be surprised if he ended up with us but as FBS says, it's down to how much city want rid and how much of his wage they're willing to pay. He would make us better, there is no question about that.
I'd be even more surprised if he ended up at Villa, financially they aren't in a good position, even moreso after missing out on CL.

Lad wants to get back in to the England set up for the world cup, so he won't be coming to us as the England manager won't pick players who are not playing European football apparently?
Pity because he has a lot of talent, and think of the amount of free kicks we would get?.

Oh have no doubt he'd be amazing for us. Some would moan that he's too flash but they'll be the ones who think "the dogs of war" was something to be proud of. He'd need a great full back behind him to cover his lack of defending but he'd be a smash. Ain't happening though.
