Just been reading that Man U have been dodging PSR rules by using another company registered in the US called Red Football, surely the powers that be can stop this sort of blatant misuse of rules, it just not just bloody fair.

This is Everton. We could barely understand our own clubs issues, let's not pretend to have a clue about the rights and wrongs of clubs far bigger and far richer than ours.

I get what you mean GB. I think there’s a lot of shady business behind most clubs (I’m sure if you dig deep enough, there will be something at Everton we’ve not heard about like the dobbins vs Tim sales last summer) . It does sometimes feel that certain clubs are treated differently, whether it be down to affording more expensive lawyers or inward sales to balance books - we just don’t seem to have been smart enough to avoid sanctions.
The deadline for city to be sorted is long past and still being dragged out in court. Chelsea declared anomalies in their accounts historically but nothing from that yet. Forest and Everton were dealt with swiftly though when the prem was under pressure to show they were dealing with things by the gov after the breakaway 6 failed.
I remember when I used to go the game as a kid and it felt like anyone could win the league. Now, it’s a pretty much foregone conclusion with one unexpected win in 20+ years. There’s a monopoly at the top and to break into it is near impossible. We all know United and Spurs had terrible seasons but they will be right back at the top next season as they can spend and spend and spend with little sanctions. Not many clubs can do that. We have had poor seasons and look at the state we have been in. Other teams have been relegated after poor seasons like Leeds, Blackburn, Newcastle (not that it will happen again for them with their new owners) , Sunderland, Sheffield Wed and United. I would be amazed if any of the breakaway 6 ever got relegated again.
