Luck had nothing to do with our point last night it was well earned second half after some good subs, Gomes for me was our star player whilst Young who got us the penalty also did well, I know we moan about him but he showed his experience in the box for that pen he knew what he was doing when he went down, I think we were unlucky not to take all three points after Garner came so close, it all bodes well for Sat so bring it on 3 points would be massive to at last get away from the bottom three,

I agree JB credit is given where credit is due we played far better when Gomes Seamus and DCL came on, we could all carry on about luck what about the bad kind just how many times have other Teams been lucky because VAR wrongly gave them penalties against us and we end up losing,

I’m not saying we’re good Woburn, but we have some on here who’ll slag the team whatever we do. A good point against Newcastle, if we had any luck, it was well overdue, we’ve played well in games this season and lost so I’ll take a point when we’re off form.

Quite a few negative posts on here this morning, which I’ve come to expect, all understandable. I’d have taken a point all day long away at Newcastle though, however it came. Regardless of the injuries, they still have some very good players and are tough to play against at St James’.
The style of play is not good, but I do t think we have the players to do much else. Tarks and Garner could easily have scored and we’d be talking about a fantastic result.
For me, Dyche is not the man to rebuild our squad. Stay up at all costs, then move him on please.

In Gomes and Onana we have players who can play football. But if all we are going to do is lump it long then these players are wasted.
Dyche is still getting his formation and tactics wrong and his team selection is baffling.

The championship is a different animal. If they were doing it in the Premier league every week then you would have a point but it's hard to compare the two leagues ans say they would definitely be scoring every game or so.

Well point away at Newcastle is a good one. Still losing the ball too often and very little movement in mid-field. Gomes is our only talented player and should be in the starting eleven.

The late equaliser though very welcome, only papers over yet another woeful performance against a team with a mile long injury list. We were lucky and we need a lot more of that. Must win next game and hope results keep going for us. Hopefully the pen gives DCL a little more confidence but penalties don't really do that as he needs to score in open play to get over his curse.

Got to say that was garbage again. I thought onana was totally ineffective wouldn't be arsed in the slightest to see him go and glad he was subbed. I understand fans frustration with starting Ashley Young. Best we can do is draw. Absolutely dross, don't see us staying up. Strikers are terrible but as others have said we have no creativity. OK 2nd half was bette4 but this lot are beaten before they step off the team coach. Takes them to go a goal down before they show any urgency.

FBS, luck is one thing that we haven't had much of this season so I'll take it whenever it presents itself mate. That point could make the difference at the end of the season. Let's face it, the players and manager are pretty sh*te, if we get out of this mess it will be due to 3 other teams being worse than us. If that's the case then they deserve to go down as we've been consistently shocking this season. I can't wait to see the back of this season tbh.

Despite a total pile of sh1t our fans were incredible again. instead of a holiday abroad SD should've sent the players into Liverpool for a week to feel our passion. Sadly, I don't think it'll be rewarded and we will go down regardless of any more point deductions, because quite simple not a single win this year! WTF and manager still in post.

Over some 40 odd years every time I returned to UK, invariably it was to London and its' region. I got to watch Everton many times at 'my' home games. Our away fans have always been tremendous and even now with the destruction wrought with Moshri, advisors and the (hrmmmmmmm) real owner, these fans are unbelievable.

Honestly don't know how anyone can back SD after those subs tonight. Can't believe Young and Godfrey started never mind not subbed after their performances. Onana was our best performer (which isn't saying much) first half.
