Being reported that Everton will let Cenk go in the January window for a reduced price of £15 million. which in turn will release funds for new players.

Being willing to let him go and actually getting a buyer for him are two separate things. Not sure there’ll be many clubs interested if we continue not to give him a chance so he can show what he can do. Would any team be that interested in a player that can’t get into our match day team?

Cenk is a superb striker, not used under thw current inept system. Best let DCL on loan.

He obviously has talent otherwise he wouldn't have scored goals previously but he has had chances for us and just doesn't seem to be the real deal. (Although none of them do atm).
Can't say I'd ever call him superb. He just doesn't have the pace to play up top on his own in prem league, struggles to hold the ball up and has a worse conversion rate than dcl. He reminds me of Glenn Murray in so. e respects and may be better at a club like Brighton or even Newcastle. He may have worked under a fat Sam system which was defensive and hit the long ball but not now.
