Excellent performance on Saturday, happy with the team and the way we played. Fair play to Silva for making the changes needed.
This weekend will tell a lot, if Coleman and Schneiderlin etc come back in then we know it wasn't him being brave, which would be a real shame. He has a chance now to play the team we all want so let's hope he doesn't mess it up.

Re Coleman and Schneiderlin, Marco must see what we do, i. e. 'It's not broke' Leave it alone so to speak.

Barring any injuries he has to stick with a winning team.
Let's face it, he stuck resolutely with a losing team which means this 11 should be there for a good few games at least.

Lads if mina doesn't recover from injury for the weekend who would you want in centre defence I know that it would be probably be holgate coming in but I think I would go with Gibson think this lad is a big talent and if he leaves in january it would be a big shame holgate has had plenty of chances but just isn't consistent enoug.

I don't mind if Holgate starts at least we'll have some pace in there which will be useful against Brighton. All the same I'd prefer it to be Mina.
{Ed025's Note - i dont mind that smit if its forced on him, but if he starts fitting in the likes of coleman, siggy and schneiderlin i will be very disappointed...lets see..

If not Mina then I would certainly give Gibson a run out, if not Saturday then certainly against Watford on Tuesday.
I like Gibson, has a cool head so be interesting to see how he handles the first team.
Need to give the lad a bit of first team action, before we end up losing the guy.

Bignev today's and Tuesdays games are big games in Evertons season, I'm all for blooding Gibson but maybe in a few weeks when hopefully we have a bit more breathing space in the league.
