Hey Ed 025 I read a couple of days ago that to get C A to Everton part of the deal was to have sizeable transfer funds to be made available in the January transfer window, it went on to say Mr Moshiri would be getting help from his long time associate Mr Usmanov who it stated that was also at C As meeting with Mr Moshiri in London when he agreed to join Everton, is there any truth in this mate it does seem possible that this indeed could be the case, are all our Christmas wishes going to come true.
{Ed025's Note - i heard that the first part was true GB, but as regards usmanov i cant be sure on that one mate..

Think we should forget about the Usmanov involvement. Even if he does join in some capacity it will not make any difference in the amount we can spend due to the "Fair Play Regulations" or am I missing something? My suspicion is that Usmanov or one of his companies will be involved in the new stadium project in one way or another.

That seems it could be the answer as to why he is getting mentioned so often Mike in view of the costs of the New Stadium mate, naming rights etc.

Does the fair play rule still only apply to the teams playing in europe or have they changed that now?
