I see this morning that Digne is the latest player to be linked away with Chealsea and Man U said to interested, price being quoted as £36 million, the report says Digne could be tempted by a move if we don't qualify for Europe, I think we have a very good chance of qualifying it will be interesting to see which Teams qualify.

Agree10 Disagree0

This is just speculation on some lazy journalists part GB. We will get more of the same the better the team does and obviously the "better" teams will be after our players. If they do go I trust Brands to get over the odds for them.

I agree mate but he does have a point, all top footballers want to play in Europe.

We will need to get into Europe or it will be more than Digne being sold if a good offer comes in. We seriously need to improve revenue if we want to keep the players we have and make further improvements to the squad.

Don't get the obsession with playing in Europe you could be knocked out in the first round. all this I want champions League football is becoming a bit tedious.

I don’t get the fascination either as before brexit we played in Europe every game 😂.

It's where the best players want to play we would have a better chance of keeping the ones we want and the ones we would like, simples.

That was not me posting on that last post . one of the boys have been winding me up sorry blues.

Surely the penny will drop on the usual players linked away.

It happens every season when we are due to play the said clubs, Man Utd and Chelsea due up soon.

Seems the press are not happy with Everton challenging and once again we have them spouting rubbish, to unsettle the team.

I have no issue with players getting sold; even those who are considered to be among the top performers. The proviso is that we get maximum value for them and we have a replacement lined up which is not going to impact the performances.

Football is a business and clubs need to get in to the habit of recycling players and replacing them. There are clubs in Europe where this is the norm, yet they are able to maintain a performance level. I thought one of Brands functions would be this type of buying and selling players to make a profit from player trading.
