I think we have to agree that Richy will be on his way. At times i doubted him but his effort has been fantastic.
I will wish him well apart from when he plays against us, so let's use the money wisely and start building a team that will work together and give us something to be proud of.

Agree2 Disagree0

Is he going? We need to accept he's going but have a figure in mind.
He is worth 60+million and only that amount will get him.
Not sure who can afford him at 60 Mill but if they pay then so be it.

Yes let's buy players with heart and skills and who don't look at us as though we're a stepping stone/ cashcow.

Not too many teams have 60 mill to spend. Mane at 35 mill, Richy at 60?

31 May 2022 06:41:47
difference between the two JB Richarlison is coming into his prime while Mane is now considered past his prime also Mane has 1 year left on his current contract.

I don’t think we will get £60m for him and his agent will push for a move. Far more likely we will have to settle for a structured deal - lump sum (not nearly as high as £60m) , a few add ons too (performance related etc) .

31 May 2022 08:45:19
I disagree I think Richie will sign a new contract.

31 May 2022 09:08:21
I hope you’re right Sa90.

Richy has gave the board and manager a list if demands. He will want to be up top end of table. He loves the club and wants assurances we will challenge. I guess if there's no change in player recruitment, then he will be gone end of window or January. Who could blame him either.

All deals ever are broken down like that Swinners. Whenever you see the fee that always includes wages, fees, agent commission, clauses and bonuses etc. Hence why these things are a dark art and hard to fully comprehend exactly what is the true costs. Usually these things don't become fully clear to us fans until the players contract is up and they move on.

Would rather keep Richarlison and let DCL leave.

31 May 2022 16:17:36
Think I’d be the other way round DFS.
Wouldn’t want to lose either, but feel Richarlison would generate the bigger transfer fee.
After last season DCL value will have dropped.

We need to generate as much cash as possible to help with our finances and recruitment.

If DCL had an injury free season I imagine he’ll get us more goals.

Richarlison scored 10 goals last season compared to DCLs 5 however Richarlison played over twice as many minutes.

31 May 2022 18:22:54
DCL just needs wide men who can cross a ball. Not really Richarlisons game, which is why I felt the two never really hit it off.

Unless you are going 442 Woburn which isn't going to happen. Richarlison would be a huge miss but if he wants to go I don't blame him. I would rather keep both as we will need the heart, fight and work rate of Richarlison next season whilst for DCL, it's not the optimal time to cash in. If we sell Richarlison them we have to reinvest smartly and like you say someone that can play to DCL's strengths but also can contribute to goals, have an opportunity to develop.
