Mykolenko was an example of good scouting imo. We should forget signing players from the premier league unless they are Gueye like deals, loans or free transfers. I would make an exemption for Zinchenko if that was possible, which I don't think it is.

Gingerdan I agree mate, have to invest it wisely. Richarlison is easily our best player. Not only does one of our top goal scorers leave. We lose someone who works his bollocks off and influences the side more than most.
I don't particularly rate him as much as some may do but i appreciate he is effective and at least shows willing. Have to enjoy the way he engages with the fans and winds the s**** up too.
From a technical perspective though, I don't think he is that great. If we can get 70m for him and reinvest with some decent players of the right age bracket, the right physical attributes and the right price, i think we should take the opportunity.

I would like us to get Kim Min Jae from Fenerbahce. He is strong, rapid, good with both feet, comfortable in tight spaces, can spray a pass long or in between/ through the lines and loves to block as much as Jags did. Appreciate it is the Turkish league but having watched him, Imo he is good enough to play in the prem with the tools he has. I can't imagine him being any worse than the likes of Keane and Holgate, that is for sure ?
Something needs to change. We have already been stung too many times buying cast offs from clubs above us at the wrong end of their career.
Hopefully we start targeting players that offer something in terms of competitiveness on the pitch. We are far to weak on it and get bullied by teams far too easily. We need signings with good physical attributes, that work hard and are at a good age.
We all know we need to sell first before we can get players in. Hopefully we find some clubs stupid enough to take some of the likes of Keane, Kenny, Gomes, Allan, Davies, Rondon.
Clear the deadwood out as best as we can and raise some funds. Lose Richy as he wants to move on and reinvest the money targeting a couple of the likes of the below, obviously not all as its not football manager. Players of this profile/ ilk would fill me with a bit of confidence we have learnt from our mistakes though.
