Absolutely garbage full back. Why di efc do it He's crap and out of contract why offer him a new one If this is true I hold no hope for next season the lad wouldn't cut it in the championship.

Cant disagree with you but Everton have shot themselves in the foot. They have one RB too young to start regualry and one too old to start regularly. Our only LB back up is a center back (which we're also short on) . In an ideal world, we would buy a top level 25 year old who can start at right back and fill in at LB as needed. As it stands, we have no money so our 25 year old right back will have to be Kenny. (Here's hoping Mykolenko is fit for 38 games and Patterson gets up to speed real quick. )

Lampard did get a tune out of Iwobi, Kenny though! and that was under relegation pressure.

Philly - if Patterson is good enough he's old enough. He's 20 - look at TAA, Reece James, wan bissaka. they were playing at the age of 20 and two of them for far better teams than we are!
Also, left back options depends on what happens with Nkounko now that his loan has finished. As it stands we've got 2 young decent looking left backs at the club.
If it's true that JJK has been offered a 3 year deal I'm genuinely flabbergasted.

Kenny is on low wages ed so if we prioritised midfield, central defense and a right back good enough to play in the first team then having Kenny as someone who can slot in at left back might not be the worse idea but only on a one year deal. Loan out Patterson and buy a right back as Lampard clearly doesn't think Patterson is ready. I think it was wild that he didn't get a chance considering the for of our other right backs.
{Ed025's Note - to be honest BT if he was on 30 bob a week it would be too much. We are never going to improve with this type of player in the squad mate.

Totally agree. We have a good left back and a young left back on loan. Right back Patterson. JJK is absolutely redundant, pile of garbage along with Keane and holgate. Get rid of all 3.

Why can't Nkounkou back up Mykolenko he was better than Kenny last season before he went on loan so it makes sense to me.
