Mane is 30 and in the last year of his contract, he won’t have any resale value after his next contract. Richarlison has just turned 25 and has a few years left. So you can’t really compare the 2 in transfer fee’s.

With Mane it's a cash in now or possibly get nothing for his departure a year later and he is 30. We have seen with some of our purchases that prices are over-inflated when it comes to buying the most/ or on of the most important players of a premier League club. It comes down to, not how much he is worth over say, but how much he is worth to the club. Selling him for 30-40m would not be much use to us and is not very tempting to take for an important player who contributes in every way and works incredibly hard. It's like the Sigurdson transfer, we paid too much but we had to if we wanted to tempt Swansea into selling him. The different variables at play makes comparing players price tags or reported prices impossible and pointless to compare. Forget the Mane price tag.
