Max Aaron's name coming up saying we have inquired about him, hope we can sign him.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jul 2022 16:42:36
You must still be using the old RollAFile GB.

22 Jul 2022 16:44:11
Isn’t he a rightback?
What would that mean for Patterson?

22 Jul 2022 16:45:42
I would Aaron the caution side!

22 Jul 2022 16:45:54
Why do you hope that GB? He was awful last season.

22 Jul 2022 17:52:32
Hey Brownshoes mate the only reason I was so fed up with watching last seasons rubbishi I just want to see players who actually care, blimey even my Grandson who’s 14 would show more passion than our lot.

22 Jul 2022 18:19:04
So let me get this right Gurnsey…. You have said ‘hope so’ as you want us to sign players who care about playing for the club or fans or just the blue shirt and whilst you have not stated this I take it you want them to be half decent yeah?

You best pray to whatever God that you either believe in or exists as that statement is devine intervention you looking for right there in black and white my friend ???.

22 Jul 2022 19:09:10
I keep saying I have been a fan since the early 60s and this is the worst Team ever for Everton, I want players who are proud to wear the famous shirt and prepared to give their all, this bunch bar a couple wouldn’t know passion if they tripped over it Blu mate.

{Ed025's Note - I wish I could disagree with you GB mate..

22 Jul 2022 19:42:40
I’ve seen them win everything and be Top of the tree Ed mate, just wish all fans on here could do the same.

{Ed025's Note - it may be a while before that happens I’m afraid GB ..

22 Jul 2022 20:47:43
Many have GB.

22 Jul 2022 21:05:52
Me too Guernsey, the great Gordon Lee team with big Bob, Dave Thomas on the wing, thru to Howard kendal buying loads of players who failed miserably, to those magical 80s where we were booed off the park just Weeks before we had a slice of luck against Oxford and it turned out we had the best goalkeeper in the world and a midfield to die for, they just knuckled down were rewarded, now we have just a bunch of guys who don't have the grit and determination of a Peter Reid. And most look like they've given up already!

22 Jul 2022 21:08:14
100% GB, what I would give for a Peter Reid or Southall, just the one of them even ?.

22 Jul 2022 21:23:06
What a Team mate.

22 Jul 2022 22:28:41
I’m with you there Gurnsey, worst I’ve seen as well. Jonny Carey was manager when I started watching Everton just before he got sacked in a taxi and long before the current main stand was built. John Moore’s the chairman and he certainly wouldn’t have tolerated today’s performances and attitudes. I’m 80 years young now and had the pleasure of seeing the good times at Goodison. Hope they soon come back but don’t see it for many years.

22 Jul 2022 23:18:37
Just about old enough to remember the highs of Kendal and the lows of Walker.
Walker the only time I've been more down about the club than now, and that's mainly from getting it in the neck at school for it. Performance wise we are probably worse now.

22 Jul 2022 23:53:22
I grew up idolising the team of 80s. Imagine having players of their quality now. Southall, Stevens, Ratcliffe, Mountfield/ Watson, Phsyco Pat, Tricky Trev, Reid, Bracewell, Sheedy (best left peg I've ever seen) Sharpe, Heath, Gray.
I wouldn't be as scared for a season to start as much as I am now. I just pray they pull up their socks, dig in and give 100%. Good players but just seems to be a defeatist attitude that won't leave the club. Had it under numerous managers.

23 Jul 2022 10:52:39
Howard Kendall £85,000, Alan Ball £100,000 what would they be worth at today’s prices. Never saw them have a bad game. 100% commitment.

23 Jul 2022 11:47:06
This is definitely the worst Everton team in history the players are a joke they should hang their heads in shame definitely agree with GB this current team are a bunch of loosers. Championship players we have.

23 Jul 2022 17:53:24
I'd say the worst team in our history is the one that got relegated, that's worse than narrowly avoiding the drop. The Walker team was worse too, as others have alluded to above.
Dentie, just reading them names evokes memories of away games in the pub before ko. Everyone singing 'oh I love Everton' great times!
