Sky transfer show presenter just saying he's received a message saying Onana to Everton is 100%. but unable to confirm as yet, needs looking into. Gutted we couldn't get Cornet though!

If Onana comes mate i won't lose a minutes thought thinking about Cornet.
Lad is mustard, loves to compete physically, and most importantly loves a tackle. It won't take him long to have the stadium behind him for those attributes alone. Add to the fact the lad has decent feet and technique and he could easily become the best midfielder the club has seen for years.
Having him and Gana in front of that suspect backline makes me feel a lot more comfortable about the season ahead mate. Nobody will like coming up against them 2 through ground covered and work rate alone.
If we manage to get him and Idrissa in, suddenly we become more robust and actually gain a spine.

Yeh good shout but I'm still thinking up top we're lightweight, hopefully Dwight can give a decent supply to whoever it is we have there while DCL injured.

Don’t know much about Onana, but have read glowing reports in the last few days. Another surprise move. So important that we can dominate the middle of the park, haven’t for years. Think a 5-2-3/ 5-3-2 could support a false 9, Dele or Grey perhaps, in the short term. We needed another out and out striker even with DCL fit. Confident we’ll see one in the next couple of weeks.

Relax guys pretty sure Batshuayi will come in, after we have played Chelsea, might even get him Saturday for talks.
