If he resigns, we are fools. £100k to sit on the medical table and possible the bench with a few cameos. It’s not like he’s setting the world alight in training as we never hear about him or see him.
I hope this is just rumour and nothing comes of it.

Was a crazy scenario. I can't imagine that the deal ever imagined us re signing him once the duration had elapsed. Obviously this was some sort of quirk. Glad to hear common sense has prevailed. And if the lads fit and the deal isn't crazy wages then he's more than welcome.

He’s back in full training with the first team, Sean and Kevin must be confident he can play for us if the deal with spurs is true . Let’s face he was a great player and hopefully could be again.

It was last chance saloon when he signed for us. Now it falls into ludicrous and desperate. Given our PSR problems, we can not afford £100k a week on someone who doesn’t do anything.
If he goes on the bag 20 assists and 10 goals I’ll happily admit I was wrong but the kid will have to make a resurgence not ever seen before in the premier league and I think there are cheaper and less risky options out there.

What would be an acceptable wage though GB? It would have to be pretty low with lots of bonuses to even think about signing again. He’s already taken us for a fair few million!

What would be the value of his motm performance in the Palace come back from 2 down at half time to win and seal the 3 points to secure another season in the EPL? Hmm? He. was pretty good in a few of those last games albeit from the bench on occasions.

Well guys we can only hope that KT and SD do a comprehensive evaluation and only sign him on a low wage with added bonuses if he performs. It's really a crap shoot, if he could get back to anywhere near his best it will be looked at as a master stroke. On the other hand, well you can guess!
