I understand that a legal formula has been found to isolate the 200m 777 loan.
If this is correct, moving forward with the takeover could be swift with the former offer being back in play.
I do not know if my source is well informed, or just wishful thinking, but hope like it's correct.

Let’s hope you are right mate, I reckon Dan Freidkin will come back to the negotiating table.

I hope he does, he seems more of a real owner than others.
I think he would actually revive our club given time.

He’s done this before with Roma, would think Freidkin would pay considerably less for us now after pulling out earlier after Moshiri wanted £50 million for some shares that Freidkin offered £1 pound for as he said they were worthless.

The loan is already isolated. No interest to pay just yet. It's a loan and will need paying. How much? Well as much as the loan was.
The money wasn't 777s and was secured and that is where the cloud is. It needs repaying, doesn't matter if 777 cease to exist as the money is secured by the lender.
The thought that companies just loan 200million without securities is paper talk, this is not monopoly it's business. Someone has paid the 200 million and someone will want that back plus some.

It will be the loan amount plus any negotiated early redemption charges. The issue is there are multiple parties claiming the loan was not 777 capital but theirs. Once this issue is legally sorted out then the prospective purchaser will know who to pay to clear the debt . I don't actually think the amount is the issue its the uncertainty of if you pay the pay the wrong party you would still be liable to pay the debt again having to try to reclaim the debt from the party you have erroneously paid the original amount to.

Daft question. Could the loan to 777 just be paid back to them and let them fight out the issue with people in USA instead of getting the club embroiled in it?
