Fabrizio Romano stating this morning that Sarri is the managerial choice of Freidkin to replace Dyche.
{Ed002's Note - He is one of a number of coaches the Freiedkin Group has taken advice on - but come next week he may have another job.}

Sarri was recently interviewed about whether he wanted to go back into management and his answer was “yes” hopefully by January …that would seem to tie in with our timeline of takeover as Friedkin hopes to here and in control by before Christmas…but we shall see.

Well I believe that a number of things have to happen before we have a new manager. The takeover has to be completed. The potential new Manager has to want to manage Everton. Whoever the new owner wants has to be available. It may also depend on what results we get before the takeover is complete, if SD wins all of the games (unlikely) then he may hang on until the season ends.
One possibility is that Moshiri will agree to a management change before the takeover is complete. Not sure about the legalities of that happening.
{Ed002's Note - Obviously there is no legal issue if anything were to happen to the manager before the take over is completed.}

OK thanks Ed002. So if Friedkin and Moshiri agree we could see a managerial change at any time?
{Ed002's Note - That is not how it works.}

If by the end of the takeover Dyche has them playing and in a better position in the league (hopefully) . Then it would make sense to leave him in charge to the end of the season. Now i'm no Dyche fan, but changing halfway through the season with a manager who has a different style could be dangerous. So if things are going ok then leave him there.
Why? Because this would give the club time to get the next manager right. It would give the new man time to discuss targets and look at what he already has. And don't forget Dyche's contract runs out in the summer.
So new season, new ground, new owner, hopefully new start.

Yes I agree BB but if we continue to lose games because SD insists on playing Young and Keane and making stupid substitutions that lead to losing points from a winning position then something will have to be done sooner. Maybe even the end of this year maybe too late. Still not sure what the options are for changing manager before the takeover is completed. Can't see Moshiri doing anything so we can only hope that the results start improving so no action is required. What's so galling is that we could have seven points instead of one with better management of the games played.

Agree BM.

Is he due a lobotomy or something?
