Well let's see what other clubs will offer, GB. DCL is a good CF but not a great one since he does not score many goals, so we shall see. The game yesterday where he was one on one with the goalkeeper and still did not score just about sums up DCL for me, the great center-forwards would have put that away with ease.

I know it won’t happen and Ed02 has already said it won’t but I’d love to see us resign Richarlison if DCL goes. He’s sat on the bench for Spurs and out of favour. Would love to see him and Ndiaye link up in attack. Well, one can but dream we get someone in who can score.

DCL is great at leading the line however he does need to seriously work on his finishing. He is on a good wage and in my opinion if we are trying to bring the wage bill down to sustainable levels then if he were to stay then the offer on the table should actually be less than he is on now not more. If he doesn't want to take that then that's his choice. I would keep him till the end of his contract and let him make the decision he feel is best for him. Trying to sell him in the January window is false economy in my opinion as he will provide more to the squad value wise than the amount any suitor would probably want to pay.

I don't think he can change the way he reacts when he is put through on goal, it should be instinctive but it just isn't in him.

Maximising your salary is not something I'd hold against a player. If he can earn it elsewhere he has every right to ask for it from Everton, we have the right not to pay it.
My gut feeling is still that it would be best for all parties if he moved on and we found a new number 9 to lead the charge at BMD, with Chermiti as understudy.
