Just read that Freidkin is lining up Moyes if he sacks Dyche! Please tell me it's not true. Please!

Hope Leicester are lucky enough to get him mate they deserve each other.

Don't get me wrong, I was one of the crowd who wanted Moyes out at the time he got linked to United. Treading water. Knife to a gunfight etc etc.
That being said. I would take Moyes over this absolute turnip any day of the week. I haven't disliked a manager more than I do Dyche.
- Whilst in the job, he would at least respect the club and the fans and not make distasteful, arrogant, sarcastic comments.
- We would win at Goodison.
- Players would show effort and commitment to the shirt.
- Slowly fight for European tours again.
- Avoid the Championship, which is where we are heading.

Moyes now in his 60s need to move away from getting old men in to run the team. Need younger manager with fresh ideas.
{Ed025's Note - im with you NFM..

Respect the club! Like he did when he left! Let his contract run down, tried buying players he valued cheap. I have no respect for him at all!

Nor me mate.

No idea why anyone is worried about this. It's a rumour that is being recirculated by everyone. I could see Moyes being wanted until the end of the season, let's face it anyone is better than SD, but can't see Moyes agreeing to a short term appointment and can't see that the new owners would want to sign Moyes to a multi-year deal.

I’d take Moyes as caretaker until Summer. We need wins and I don’t see them under Dyche.

As I say, I wanted the man out long before he left and I don't want him now but would I prefer him as our manager over Dyche. Absolutely 100%.
Nick, i made a point of stating "Whilst in the job" because of what happened with Felli and Baines. Man Utd were the biggest job in the world at the time, so I don't blame him for wanting to go. Could he have acted with more class around Felli and Baines, of course but he was acting in the best interests of his new team. If the shoe was on the other foot, no one would have an issue with it. It is just business.
He has only spoken well of Everton football club and the fans over the years.
He absolutely isn't the answer and who I want as manager but my point was only that I would take him over Dyche in any situation.

The opinion pieces have been rerolling this story in any form possible. Considering it's all been quiet since Freidkin GRP came back to the party, it's a very very slow time for Everton rumours. The only truth spoken for 3 months is that we now have grass sprouting at the dock. Yawn.

I get your point BlueNose. Hopefully this saga will end where all will be happy with the outcome.

Hopefully mate and sooner rather than later. I think we have all suffered enough.

Don't buy into the Moyes hate, but also agree he's nowhere near the long-term answer.
To be fair to him tho, he took us and the bubble-blowers to Europe and is more exciting than SD. and most of our other recent managers.
100 other names linked though so not putting money on it.

Moyes might be 60 ish which at 62 myself don’t see your point it’s not like he’ll be putting his boots on, however would you take Don Carlo back someone else in his 60’s . It’s about ability to mould a team . I’m curious to see how SD gets on when we have more of our squad back . Interesting times ahead.
