As has been said before January is a very difficult time to recruit players unless you are willing to pay over-te-odds which thankfully we are not prepared to do. Having said that I am sure that the owner and Moyes will have a look at our scouting team and Thelwell himself. If we have any spare cash between now and the summer improving and expanding the scouting team is money well spent.

It's poor BM we are desperate for pace, I'm already looking forward to the summer rebuild we need a lot of new players, sadly it seems Thelwell only knows 4 players so he will be replaced is my guess. Como have managed to get 100 players in this transfer window and there are bargains still out there. Leaving it till the last day and hope to get something is ridiculous.

I think the recent run of wins has rid of the relegation risk and lessened the need to panic buy. Wait for the right options at the right price. Means more money for summer.

Cookie isn't offering an excuse BD, he's just being factual. January is a hard month to buy players, hasn't been a great deal of movement between Premier league clubs really and most have left it until today.

Ideally, you’d want loans to tide us over until summer but we’re in the position of Broja being injured and yet to return to Chelsea, Mangala who is injured and yet to return to France and Harrison who was a waste of a loan space and should never have been signed again who won’t go back to Leeds as they have no reason to call him back or have him back due to his wages.
How will the Argentinian lad become another loan is so far not understandable to me unless one of those three go.
My money is on the lights have been turned off at Finch Farm and Thelwell will be out the door in Summer. Right, off to the bookies….
