Hopefully papertalk ron mate but seen a few rumours online that we are interested in chris rigg and also dan neil from Sunderland but seen good few players make step up from championship ie jarrod bowen so there is definitely talent down the lower leagues just got to look more often.

Hopefully BR and have seen and heard a few ex players in the last couple of weeks saying Rigg is definitely a talent. i just thought that's added £20 million to wotever value he was.

You do realise that when we sign these players as squad players we still have to pay them. We should be looking for players who are going to challenge the current crop, not players who are happy to sit on the bench.

Hopefully the Brownhill rumours are just old stories getting dragged up again as whilst we’re going to be short on numbers in the closed season would hope there were better options available from the under 21s team to step up.
Do like the links to the 2 Sunderland players as both look decent and look like they could step up to the pre use league - only issue would be other teams would also be interested in them and may turn into a bidding war so to speak.

I can't say I want the lad but we need a lot of new players this summer and getting some in on a free will work.
No Mangala or Dourcoure. Idrissa a year older. Garner not the most robust. Neither is Tim and he is still a young lad. Whilst Brownhill may not be a starter if everyone is fit, what do we do when we are short in the middle. The season is long and there are many games to play. Prem experience, works hard and would not look out of place. Getting him on a free wouldn't be a bad signing.

Just reading he is 29 played 34 games this season scored 13 and assisted 4 and scored 7 times last season in a team that got relegated. i thought he was older than that.

Hope this isn’t true, we need a better level of player if we are to progress. He’s already 29 .
