Don't think they have any choice as clubs can activate his release clause. Yes _£30million could be a real good bargain and love him to sign, ust hope we can sell the vision to him and doesn't go to Chelsea or Utd to benchwarm.

Alot of pundits think he should go to us too. Will play 1st choice bug hopefully we can sell the vision to him and back it up with some quality signings.

Do have some concerns. He does play hard but he seems to have a "me" attitude. Maybe all young strikers these days do but in my mind I would hope we get lucky and get out bid on him and find a diamond elsewhere.

Don’t have a problem with a striker having a me attitude as long as he delivers. Lukaku comes to mind and he wasn’t too shabby.

For those saying don't want Delap, sorry I really don't get it, he suits us and Everton, he is 22 English and bags of potential with a proven season in the league not to mention his time at City reserves where big things of him were expected. The guy could be similar to Kane and will only get better and at £30million is a absolute no brainer in today's market, if we have any chance of getting him we must sell the vision, if he can't see it let's not drag it out all summer. Could easily see him being a £60-70 million player if does come to us. ??✅.

Delap 12 goals 2 of which were penalties in 2567 premier league minutes
Beto 8 goals none were penalties in 1434 minutes of premier league minutes.
Genuinely don’t think Delap is better, however do feel he could work well in a front 2 with Beto.

Would love it if he did, think it would work really well for us.
The loan striker role is so hard to get right, particularly when no other players making runs in to the box.
Could see Beto and Delap working very well together.
