Seen today we are linked with partizan Belgrade 17yr old defender, hammer from Sheffield utd and rayan cherki from Lyon. I'd take all 3 in a heartbeat.

Think we have left it too late for Cherki, the secrets out now with him, teams with European football will no doubt be sniffing around. We should have been trying to bring him him in last summer. Not sold on Delap either if i'm honest, never impressed in either games against us last season, personally think he's being hyped something silly by the media.

Spot on with the whole post there.
I do think Delap looks a decent striker and he has a lot of useful attributes, however, I do think his performances aren’t really deserving of the hype he is getting and the links to champions league clubs.
I imagine the fact he is English and so young has a lot to do with it.
All that being said, he would comfortably be the most well-rounded striker in our team if he did join and the one with most scope for improvement.

Was keen on him, but his resent display at Goodison, left a lot to be desired.
Clumsy, slow, a poor first touch, really not convinced he's the answer.

Rather than Hamer better option would be Finn Azaz. More mobile, younger and higher potential (Bournemouth and Palace chasing) .

I’d take Wilson on £30k a week to DCL on £100k a week if it’s like for like back up striker.
I’d prefer a new prolific striker with Beto as back up or their partner and Chermiti as the back up to those two.
