How did we get bullied on every set piece today with the size of the lads in our team?
Why was O'Brien on the post when he is the biggest player on the pitch?
If we know Pickfords weak spot is commanding his area, why have our coaches and players not cottoned on to that, let alone after 4 or 5 corners/ throw ins. Just get O'Brien or Tarkowski to stand in front of him and the man to stop him getting bullied.
Even a Sunday league team would have the nous to spot this.
Mykolenko is an absolutely shocking footballer. He isn't even good at the defensive aspect of the game.
Tarkowski is one of the most overrated Everton players I have seen. Just because he throws his body in front of shots he gets lauded as some colossus defender. He is slow in body and mind. He ball watches all the time and thinks its funny and is laughing when Richarlison does him and nearly scores a 1 on 1 with Pickford when we are 2 down. Fella is a helmet.
James Garner is fantastic and can play anywhere.
Would love to see Rohl get a start. Head an shoulders above what we have in the middle.
KDH isn't as good as people think.
Ndiaye quality again but teams know to double up on him and can do without stress because we don't have a fullback that offers an option.
Grealish quality player but very predictable.

Really good piece of Everton strikers since Lukaku on bbc webpage. Interesting the best goals per minute rate is Omar Niasse, shows how bad we have been in that aspect.

So Niasse was our best striker since Lukaku?
26 Oct 2025 23:46:31
Where's Eto'o.
19 Oct 2025 19:16:56
3 managers reject Rangers because they don't want to. work with Kevin Thelwell. On them was the days!
23 Oct 2025 20:41:06
I don't think its thelwell so much. More to the fact that Rangers are atrocious this season. They aren't a nailed on bet on Ladbrokes for me anymore lol.
17 Oct 2025 19:09:28
Well and truly dodged a bullet with that 777 lot. One of them just been charged with fraud, falsifying financial figures.

I have great sympathy for the supporter of Sheffield/ wensday, a great club being destroyed by incompetent owners, and had we been relegated in our difficulties, we may have found ourselves in a similar position
But sympathy in no consultation if they are destroyed by their situation, time for government, the football league, and the FA, to step in, suspend the current owner from control, and appoint an independent body to run the club, and seek new owners.
We could have been in their situation, and all of football should do all they can to prevent their demise.

Great supporters as well mate. Both my boys went to university there, and went and watched a few games.
18 Oct 2025 20:58:51
Huge club that's been ran incompetently for years. Some big clubs from when I was a kid that have had their off field problems hamper them. Days of Coventry/ Sheffield Wed and even Luton being in top flight seem distant memory for them ( apart from Lutons season in prem recently) . Unfortunately money has ruined football, unless you're a supporter of a massively backed club ie man city, man utd, Chelsea, arsenal etc. a lot of clubs try to compete and sustain huge losses trying to compete, or in championship, they run club to ruin trying to get into the lucrative prem league.
{Ed025's Note - you are right Dentie mate..
14 Oct 2025 21:17:03
Just wondering if any of the eds can add the dark page mode on the everton page bit like what the rangers page has currently got looks more serious an better like ?.

Cheers Ed 025 looks well good tbh.

Martin sheriff looking a handful and just scored for Rotherham.
03 Oct 2025 08:52:48
Let’s hope it continues, keep playing, keep scoring and he could find himself back in January.
05 Oct 2025 16:36:19
Bottom end of L1. He stays for the full season and next summer goes to a championship club. Long long way to the top tier but on the right trajectory. Let's give the kids the right development before making silly claims.

Just one to debate and not necessarily my opinion, more of an idle musing while I decide when to get up for work.
We all are aware Michael Keane is the best finisher at the club or was with last season’s group of players.
So my thoughts were play O’Brien at centre half in his natural position with either Seamus or Patterson at right back or Jimmy Garner as he’s mr versatile with Rohl or Tim alongside Gana,
Play Keane at centre forward he’s good in the air he can hold the ball and as we know he’s got a hell of a shot on him .
Not my opinion but up for debate .
Please discuss in not more than 500 words.
01 Oct 2025 09:28:18
I think there are other options to try before playing Keane up front. Ndayie or Alcaraz should be tried. If Barry needs time, then so be it, but Beto cannot be the answer for the next few months. Get Sherrif back, couldn’t be any worse.
01 Oct 2025 16:07:13
My sentiments exactly JB the quicker the better mate.
03 Oct 2025 19:59:19
Keane is good at long range shots and headers but he lacks the pace to be put through on goal. Plus he's doing fine at CB at the moment.
30 Sep 2025 00:54:42
Told all you Davey lovers that we made the wrong decision bringing him back but no one would listen. , the man is useless.
30 Sep 2025 23:38:46
???.
01 Oct 2025 08:14:21
And another one. 9th we ste 9th what's wrong with you?
01 Oct 2025 09:30:42
What we’ve seen under Moyes is chalk and cheese compared to Dycheball. Problem is some fans got carried away after a couple of good results. He was bought in to steady the ship which he did is spades. Calling for his head already is baffling to me, but each to their own.
01 Oct 2025 16:09:01
Maybe we should have gone with Potter Sylark, Strewth man.
01 Oct 2025 18:17:28
No, didn't want potter but you just love Davey.
01 Oct 2025 18:49:07
Best man for the job mate by a country mile.
01 Oct 2025 18:57:41
Just the reply I expected from you.
01 Oct 2025 19:51:59
Truth always hurts mate.
01 Oct 2025 20:41:24
He will be gone before the end of his contract, he is simply not good enough to take us forward, take your Davey glasses off.
02 Oct 2025 07:41:45
Bonkers end of.
02 Oct 2025 14:42:57
I think the last 2 games have shown Moyes limitations.
The team he selected against wolves was disrespectful to the fans, club and cup. Wolves had nothing to lose in the game as chance to play with freedom away from the pressure of the league and Moyes totally ignored that and fielded a weakened team. Was a game we should have gone all out to win to keep momentum going as well as trying to win a cup.
Against West Ham his tactics were poor. We could all see O’Brian was getting overrun down his side but no changes made to shore up that side. Beto struggling with no service and being isolated - needed a change of tactics but instead he changed like for like and left Barry in the same boat.
Not calling for him to be sacked, but feel the big love in for him won’t be lasting much longer from majority of fans if he doesn’t change things.
We also have serious owners now who have backed him and will want to see improved performances otherwise I imagine they’ll happily replace him.
He has decent players he just needs to utilise them correctly, also needs to play to the strikers strengths if he expects them to score goals.
02 Oct 2025 17:21:47
His job to lose I suppose. It’s a results game after all. We’d probably have taken the points we have at the start of the season, but we showed promise and hoped for more from the last few games. Palace will be a test, let’s see what happens.
03 Oct 2025 13:30:41
Well put Dan.
29 Sep 2025 19:46:44
We haven't had a post for a little while naming a striker we should have signed that none of us have ever heard of, who's stats are incredible and would only cost £7.50.
