Told yesterday that the club has an extensive list of players they are looking at this summer and that we are likely to spend big.
With the FFP hanging over City for next season there is every chance that 5th will be enough for CL and Farhad wants us to go all out for it.

We certainly seem to be getting linked to the right players and I can see problems at United, Chelsea and Arsenal - so not beyond realms of possibility we can finish above a couple of them. Fingers crossed.

Well let’s hope it’s not too big or we will fall foul of FFP ourselves especially given we have a lot of players to move on and will take a number of hits on them so won’t be getting funds in that way to balance the books.

I agree I think top 4 is as open as it’s ever been Man City Liverpool are way ahead but like you said problems for a lot of clubs and bear in mind spurs lost 20 games in all comps last year and still finished top 4 and champions league final, we look as though we have a direction for the first time, recruitment looks to be right under Brands and Marco.
11/ 1 for top 4 is not bad odds.

It's nice to dream but we won't finish top 4 next season. I just can't see it happening. Yeah teams above aren't in a great position but teams around us are. There is a lot more comitition in the league than just the teams that finished in the top 6. Realistically there are 9 teams going for the top 4 and 6.
