Hi Ed are we interested in Zaha or is Just silly season speculation. ? He a good player but for the money I think we could get a couple of positions sorted for that.

{Ed002's Note - Zaha is an option for Everton as he resolves the RW problem and can play as a striker. Against it is the desire of the player to move to Arsenal - who want the player but will move on to Malcom as an alternative.}

Why pay 80 million for zaha, I'd try and get icardi from inter for 50 million, proven striker, just needs to be sold the everton vision by brands, no other clubs want him and inter want rid for lukaku.

{Ed002's Note - There is zero chance of Icardi joining Everton - nada, none.}

Why do some fans think because we could potentially afford the price tag on players they would come to us? Icardi would not come to everton, Zaha might even it cost more money the player would come u like others who may be cheaper price wise.

Ed would he even consider coming to us as he has stated he wants champions league football which we cannot offer him? Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - Zaha wants to play for Arsenal. The question Everton should consider is would they want a player who is keen to play for another side? And at the asking price, if they were an option next year, there would be no money to be made by Everton. It makes little sense to me for Everton to look to him.}

Because I'd rather buy better players for less money, seems pretty simple to me. I know inter are a huge club but we got digne, mina, gomes from Barcelona who weren't playing and weren't in great situations and no one wants icardi, Barcelona got griezmann, real got jovetic, no one wants him. I know the chances aren't great but don't think there is a better striker available in the world than him.

{Ed002's Note - No, there is zero chance and there is interest in Icardi - it is simply nonsense.}

Agreed Ed even though he is a good player. Malcom of he is still there he would be cheaper and younger.

Although he could potentially be a RW or striker as you say I really don't think he is the solution we need especially at the silly prices being mentioned for the reasons you say above.

His stats aren't exactly brilliant either, his Premier League record is as follows - 177 games, 32 goals and 21 assists. Palace's top scorer with 10 goals last season but not consistent enough for me. I'm not sold on Zaha.

Icardi is close to world class, have no idea why some blues are that deluded as to think players like Werner, Icardi and Pepe would even look twice at us when we don't have any European football.

If Icardi is close to world class why are his club looking to sell him?

{Ed001's Note - because he is a horrible gimp and his wife/agent Wanda Nara is a total pain in the rectum and constantly slags off the club in public.}

Johnny1989/ Eddy - All them years ago did you think Robinho would go to Man City? What a signing cost a fortune but raised there profile just after takeover and attracted other big names the rest is history and will be for years to come if they carry on.
A player like Icardi would come if he was offered a big deal to play in England as if he does well and we don’t then he gets a move to a top 4 side as proven in EPL. And nobody else seems to be wanting him.
