Apparently linked with Malcolm (again) after he made his debut for Zenit and his own fans had a banner telling the club they don’t want black players!

Zenit may be forced to get him off the books sharpish and may take a significant loss.

Was just about to write the same post S-H. Haven't heard links we are going back in for him. But saw the carry on he had the his own fans. The fans are requesting zenit to sell him. Interesting if he comes back to the market weather we will go back in for him.
Would absolutely love him at Everton. Think he's quality. Might even get him for less than we offered Barcelona.
But I haven't heard anything about us going back in for him so not getting hopes up!

Would be a good addition however the bigger talking point is what disgusting behaviour by their fans!
Quite a few media outlets have been running stories about it.

IMO if we wanted him he wouldn't be at Zenith . I think the Prem has to be a better option with or without European football on offer .

Whether we are interested or not this is a despicable situation. Such brazen acts of racism are truly sickening. I learn this on the same day one of our supporters groups are raising funds for a banner to welcome Moise Kean and reassure him of our total inclusion policy as a club.

Zenit bigwigs have come out and flatly denied the said banner was racist and that their fans weren't being sarcastic in any shape or form. Apparently, the 'small minority' of fans were thanking the club for holding up their tradition of signing the best players no matter what colour their skin is or where they originate from.
I, for one, am a bit sceltical of their explanation!

In all fairness it's not like it's a secret that the Russian league is rife with racism so whoever was his advisor about the deal should have warned him of this. He will be there for 1 season before going on strike and looking for his 3rd club in as many years.

The rumours about the Russian league are rumours. Who has been to Russia, St Petersburg is nothing like we are brought up to believe, let's keep it football and not behaviour of a small minority of fans. Every club has that minority that don't agree with most fans. We have it ourselves, everything is negative to them. When Bill has had a plan since he took over and that plan is still in play almost 10 years on.
Football not polytics.

A disgrace of course, but there’re no surprises there at all. Kean had well documented issues in Italy too, whether or not that influenced him wanting to move or not? Our gain either way. Not perfect in England, but not comparable to the abuse faced further East in Europe. Harsher sanctions required!
