Great result yesterday, lots of passion and energy shown by the lads.
I'd give big Dunc the united game and let's see how he sets them up with a weeks training under his belt.

I'm hoping the 442 disappears, we were outnumbered in the middle yesterday and on another day chelsea could have scored a couple more.

Away from home we will need to win the battle in the middle for sure and with the same passion and energy we can get something from Old Trafford.

Smitt the 442 did disappear he took off Ricky for Tom. 442 got us into a position to win 451 meant we held on to that lead. Good in game management if you ask me. We were at home so starting with 442 for me is aggressive formation that sends a message to us as fans and the opposition, Everton are going to try to win the game. Away from home like you I would expect a different set up we do have quite a good counter attack when we are on form. Great start by big Dunc I think he may have seen his stock rise with both the management and some of the supporters that thought he may have been part of the problem with ex managers. If we want a manager with passion that loves the club he certainly provides that. I'm made up for the guy. Definitely one for the future in my opinion.

Smit I don't care what was reported about the bond between the players and Silva, their just had to be a problem. For Ferguson to get the likes of Schneiderlin playing so much better speaks volumes to me. At present we have problems in the middle because of injuries but if all the players show the same passion, energy and desire that they show yesterday we will have little problem getting results and moving up the table. Hopefully we can recruit some good additions in January.

While he get points Smit let him have a bit of a run mate, It will be interesting to see what he does at Utd .

Btw Smitty when DC sees you using his 'avi' he will go ape lol 🤣.

I thought he made some very astute changes. Firstly was the 442 set up. Secondly we stopped pushing up to the half way line and getting caught out with the simple ball over the top. At least 3 of Liverpools goals were that simple. a simple ball over the top or through the middle and our defenders too slow to turn and defend. Thirdly, he stopped this stupid roll out of the ball from Pickford and the never ending crossfield passes that look like we will lose possession and concede. Forthly, we pressed. We pressed as a team. not just one or two players. we got into them in every position until we went back from 442 to 451. Finally DCL with Richy just behind him worked a treat. DCL looked this good in one other game this season but has toiled hard for little result over the season. mainly because he has been on his own. Sometimes he had wingers. but noone besides him to lay it off to. Yes this game Dunc got things right. let's see if he can continue now.

Dunc probably told Morgan he would kick him round the training ground if he didn’t put a proper shift in!
To have pride in himself the shirt and the badge! And to earn the bloody good wages he’s paid!

It was good to see him switch the formation to see out the game. Silva never had that in him.

I'd love him to get the United game, I'll be there and would love it if we could go and get something from that game. Even a draw would build confidence and start a bit of a run.

As for the Avatar, I picked it a few games ago (when things looked bad) but it has only just been approved.
Another win and I might have to change it back.

Duncan Ferguson made it simple, no over complicated tactics, play for each other, if you lose the ball, chase it down, simple football that gets over complicated by Managers.

I would give Dunc the Leicester cup game without a shadow of doubt.

Yesterday the players got their identity and self belief back.

Let’s not rush in straight away for a new Manager, at least give Dunc a couple of games.

You can have what ever formation you want, but Dunc got a performance out of every single player yesterday, the intensity was first class and what won us the game yes they could of scored more but so could we. Nice to see 442 and then change it later on, good in game management.

I'd give big Dunc until the end of the month. United have got some form and Leicester are a great side, but Arsenal, Burnley and Newcastle could/ should be winnable. Then that gives the board plenty of time to select a new manager if they decide to go that way.
