The cancellation of the Everton verses Manchester City raises a few questions. I believe City will miss more than the Everton game and if this happens for say to City again I can see a scenario where they would not be able to fulfill all their League games so we would end up with an incomplete season. In that case which teams for example would go into next seasons European competitions? Would it be the teams occupying the top spots when the season is concluded? Or if the season was just cancelled would the teams who qualified for Europe last year just be entered again?
Maybe Ed002 can give some advice?

{Ed002's Note - The effort is to complete the season and many sides have had and will continue to have COVID-19 related issues. There is a proposal on the table to to draw a line across and call the table final if 50% of the games have been played - clubs will be against it so there is no vote. There is, like last season, no recourse to simply cancel the season. I expect it will be discussed again soon and realistically there is another lock down coming.}

I'm not upset about the game being cancelled so much as it's people's health at stake, it was very cloak an dagger.
