Whilst i agree that he won't come to us for a multitude of reasons and he will probably go to a side offering champions league football with nicer weather than Merseyside. But to say he is "way to good" for Everton is nonesense.

He is a young, talented, promising player, granted. He didn't get the most minutes last season, so is clearly not quite there yet and there aren't countless top clubs queuing up for him.


If you take into account that players such as Digne and Allan chose to come to us, who imo were (when we signed them) and still are more highly regarded in the footballing world, it would seem that he isn't way to good for Everton at all.

Add to that, we have a huge following in the states. It would do him no harm building himself a larger fan base at home, whilst at the same time, getting his foot into the prem to eventually move on to a title challenger, if he rates himself as highly as you seem to.
