Eds is there any truth in Emiliano Martinez, from Fc Mijdtland, to Everton.

{Ed002's Note - Emiliano Martinez (DM) The Uruguan plays for Midtjylland but has attracted interest from several clubs including Marseille who have held talks with his club and have been granted permission to speak to the player who they consider a suitable replacement for Matteo Guendouzi. Everton enquired after the player with his agents, and it could only be as an Onana replacement, given they have Garner as well. Unless paying over the odds it will be difficult to get a Work Permit to play in England. Basel offer an option with Xhaka and Frei now well in to their 30s. Player has said he wants to play in Italy.}
