. really bad results for us tonight.the dark side nicking 3 points late on & Tottenham winning too.our hopes of a return to Europe are looking grimmer by the day.so p''''d off tonight. got ourselves to blame though. 8 point gap now!!

ManCity should win the League Cup, but as they're surely qualifying for the Champions League - and as the League Cup runners up do not get a European place (unlike the FA Cup runners up in similar circumstances) - then a Europa League place goes to the next best league finish, which means that 6th place joins 5th in the Europa league. If the FA Cup winners and runners up both qualify for Europe via league position, then 7th might even qualify for the Europa League. We're still in with a chance :-)

If were not going to finish 4th I wuddent be bothered, europa has nothing to offer what so ever
