I have just read our dear leader's post match interview. So the reason we lost is we didn't take our chances and they scored good goals! The bloke gets more ridiculous every week. That makes the comment after the 3-2 defeat at St James Park earlier this season sound slightly less stupid, ("so Roberto can you take any positives from that performance"? "Ci Señor, well I was pleased to see that Arouna Kone looked fit and sharp"). We'll gloss over the appalling defending for each goal then shall we. Does he berate his players in the changing room, or is he so unbelievable stupid that he thinks that the performance last night was acceptable! I couldn't care less if we had scored 6 goals, we still conceded 5 goals. 9 points and then we need to get shot of him. I also suggest we opt for a new captain next season as jagielka doesn't even deserve a place in the team. Alcaraz, McGeady, Atsu (back to Chelsea), Barry, Pienaar, Kone, Howard need to be gone in the summer. Deadwood that needs replacing. Would rather hope that Lennon, Gibson, Stones and Ossie are back in the starting line up at the weekend. It's a shame that it's not worked out, as last season we played well and he was a breath of fresh air, but he has been massively found out this season. Nice bloke as he most likely is, but deluded, arrogant and very tactically inept. What makes it worse is I don't think BK has the bottle to get rid. So here's to another season of irrelevant post match interviews and Gareth Barry playing it sideways. Can hardly wait.
