Anyone can win this one this year, yes and that does include us.
Who really should we fear?

Erm, maybe the 10 team above you in the table or the 9 below you for that matter. You finished bottom half last year and that's where you are now so please tell me what has changed.

So does that mean Leicester will win it because they've got 19 teams below them? What a plum lololol.

{Ed025's Note - we do get the odd idiot visiting these pages ace, im afraid its a symptom of liverpool winning a couple of games, im sure things will settle down once klippertys honeymoon period is over mate..

Antg that shows how much you know about Everton this season. Totally different this season compared to last season. Your correct we are bottom half at the moment. You were quick to mention that. Strange that you never mentioned we have a game in hand. 3 points at this stage of the season moves a team well up the table.

It'll be the new year before anyone knows where teams will potentially finish up. Mushy is 100% correct its there for the taking for anyone.

I've heard plenty of neutral commentators saying that Everton putting out their strongest team wouldn't fear anyone. On our day we can beat anyone. Anyone who disputes that simply has something against Everton.

{Ed025's Note - or maybe an idiot..like ant..

Yes Ed, he's also a complete idiot.

{Ed025's Note - probably a 12 year old sitting in his room with his x-box, with a ladys stocking on one leg hanging out the bed and a boxing glove on one hand.. :)

Aw god Ed, thank you very much. I burst out laughing at that comment. Hilarious.

{Ed025's Note - i forgot to mention the red high heel shoe on his stocking leg mate..

Tbf lads he has good english for a Norwegian. Fact is if you win your home games and get results away then you can consider a serious challenge. That is something they don't do as there home form is not good at all.

You can say what you want about our non-Blue visitor but realistically we have absolutely zero chance of winning the league. Yes, on our day we can beat anyone, but that goes for half the league too. We're nearly 50% of the way through the season as well so most teams have had similar starts to us and we're not challenging top spot. I'll be happy with 6th this year and that's not guaranteed.

Btw Ed. - I wished I'd known what your know at 12 ;-)

{Ed025's Note - im hoping we finish a bit higher than that pod, all teams are dropping points and we have a very capable squad to do some serious damage this season i believe mate..

Pod, no one said we are going to win the league. It was pointed out that its so open this year that is there for anyone. Therefore top 4 is there for anyone. I'd be delighted with top 4.

As I said before I think we'll finish 5th. Anything less and I'll be disappointed. Anything above and happy days. At this stage its hard to tell. We still have 6 months to go. Doesn't matter we are nearly half way because top teams are dropping so many points.

Just a note on Klopp, I do really like him, I like his attitude and that he clearly cares for his players. However, they have beaten Chelsea away (who hasn't? ) and City away (West Ham and Spurs also did this, are they title challengers too? ) . I think you should wait and see how he does against teams with actual good managers like Arsenal, he got outdone by bloody Alan Pardew. They win a few games and are title challengers again? . While there is no doubt he's an improvement on Rodgers, how long will he be there? 3 years? Everyone knows he wants the Utd or Bayern job. Sets up perfectly, his contract expires just after Giggs takes over for a season at Utd and he gets the Utd job. Will be very surprised if this doesn't happen.

Good points there Swan. Interesting read but Alan Pardew is a decent enough manager in my view. Crystal Palace are doing fairly well imo.

{Ed025's Note - i would say very well..

He got a raw deal at Newcastle who go through managers like they are going out of fashion.

Hughton got an awful raw deal there also. Superb manager if you ask me. Doing the business in the championship at the moment. Just like he did with Newcastle when they were in it.

I like Newcastle, great support. They need a decent manager and to stick by him to bring the club forward. Wouldn't be surprised if they look to get Hughton back if they end up back down a league.

Someone posted on here before that Moyes would be their manager by Christmas. Could very well happen with the way things are shaping up for them.

A, I suppose I should of let that one slide Swan. Doesn't really matter. I'm sure there's more people out there who think he is crap too.
