Defy anyone to watch lampards interview and not feel optimistic and desperate to get behind him and the players. An intelligent football man, who knows all about EFC and what the fans want. Also love that as well as being passionate he comes across well and will represent the football club well.

Every new manager says these things when they go to a new club but If evertonions are happy paying 40 million for Ali then wow no wonder you are we’re you are because that’s just throwing money away. He has no pace and sulks like a baby .

We pay 10m after 20 games (end of season) .
Rest is paid on how he performs. If we had done that with Iwobi and a few others then we would have saved a small fortune.
Remember the lad is still only 25, and if he does get back to his old self then he will be worth a lot more than 40m.

Surprised he even knows what lampard said to be able to comment "every manager says these things". I've never sat down and watched another clubs manager being interviewed about his new job but then I'm not a sad b*stard. All the best Ted.
