I read a post the other day in respect of the number 10 position. There's no doubt that we are crying out for a decent number 10 ( amongst other things ) Given our current squad, there's no doubt that Dele is the best equipped for that role, but unfortunately he is miles away from the 1st team, so how about Danjuma and Harrison on the wings, with McNeil as a number 10. He has the ability and is surely a better option in that position than Doucoure or Iwobi. Just a thought.

Doucs was excellent in that role against Wolves tbf SB. But, I do agree, we've lacked a proper #10 since the likes of Siggy and James. We've had some top CAM's in the past though: Fellaini, Cahill, Arteta, Osman, to name a few.

I think Danjuma, Harrison and McNeil are probably the best attacking midfield trio we have. That said Doucs has been very good since SD joined. The key thing is working out which combination works best and doing it quickly!

Whilst I agree that Doucoure has been good under Dyche, I feel that he is really a box to box midfielder and not a 10. Also, if Dyche can see what most supporters can see and removes Gueye from the starting 11, then he may have to drop a little deeper, although he does have the option to use Garner.

We don't play with a 10. Unless Dyche goes 442 or a proper 4 4 11 rather than a 451 or 4141 then a 10 is not needed.

Dyche apparently prefers 442, but I must admit that he isn't capable of changing things unless it is enforced or involves Michael Keane.
