I posted a few weeks ago that I think DLC is waiting for the ownership saga to settle before he signs the new contract. Conversations must have been had between SD, KT and Dom, otherwise why is Dom the main striker still build the attack around his abilities and style of play.

Stability, maybe an improved deal, Dyche staying, things I suppose we’d all want to know if a new owner was taking over our place of work apart from SD who doesn’t work with any of us . I can’t see any other reason for Dom starting all our games so far and being partnered with different players if he’s said he wants to go then why risk him getting injured and losing out on a sale. Even the players we’ve bought are all about delivering decent crosses into the box or playing off a leading striker . Anyway just my thoughts.

I would prefer if he went we are never going to get the supposed £35 million for him that the Club wants, if someone came in and offered £20-£25 million I think that’s a good deal, as to why he starts he simply is the best we have that Sean can pick, improvements all over the pitch have happened, we now need the icing on the cake with a couple of new young strikers.

the ownership is one of the reasons supposedly that DCL and his agent have took a step back.

{Ed025's Note - i see that as an excuse rather than a reason wblue, its about the money and wanting more of it for me mate, him and his agent are playing the game as far as i am concerned and hes not the first and certainly wont be the last to do that..

I’m not convinced DCL l’s position depends on the takeover though I get where you are coming from Big C. I just think he’s looking to milk what he can from whoever he can as his last big contract. He probably knows he has a few years left at the top of his game given his history record before he fades into the lower leagues. I would be surprised if we offered him more money as he just isn’t performing as his wage implies he should be….
