Seeing reports we have offered tarkowski a 3 year deal 80k a week, also reports we have contacted maxwell cornet representatives over a possible move, do you know anything Ed.

Bigduncan

{Ed002's Note - James Tarkowski (CB) options are Newcastle and Wolves. I suspect the long-term interest of West Ham has gone after failing to sort out a transfer previously but as a Free Agent he could be attractive to them and others, such as Everton - but not a long-term solution.
Josh Brownhill (CM/DM) West Ham had an interest when he was at Bristol City. Leeds have him on a list of options if they lose Phillips. Watched by Everton and Aston Ailla but perhaps not first choice for either.
Maxwel Cornet (LW/F) Spurs are interested in using Cornet as a left wing back - something Antonio Conte has regularly done successfully in the past. He is one of three options identified to replace Reguilon. There will be interest from elsewhere and a fixed fee of €20M will bring interest from France.}

1.) 29 May 2022 00:15:13
Thanks for the reply, no hope in us getting cornet then, one more things it’s not Everton related but I heard a rumour Liverpool won the quadruple can you confirm.

2.) 29 May 2022 00:39:57
Think tarkowski be good edition if we get rid of mina on his wages i reckon like.

3.) 29 May 2022 04:46:23
Spurs signing Perisic could rule them out of Cornet.

4.) 30 May 2022 12:11:31
No bigdonk, they only won 2 of the 4 available
Not sure why you would find that amusing when you look at the state of your own club.

5.) 30 May 2022 15:16:13
I find it highly amusing as you lot wanted us down, you drew twice btw scoring 0 in the process deluded fans.

6.) 30 May 2022 15:51:06
RD, the answer is obvious. Most reds wanted us relegated but it didn't quite work out like that did it? And we had to endure weeks of the quad shouts as most of you believed you had done it already. That didn't quite work out either did it?

01 Dec 2017 11:36:52
Ed have you heard anything about us and slimani I think he would be ideal if not benteke?

bigduncan

{Ed025's Note - i like slimani dunc even though hes not at the top of my list, benteke though would be very near the bottom mate as i think he is a lazy a sulker and has a very poor attitude..now that we have a new manager you can expect every man and his dog to be linked with us..

1.) 01 Dec 2017 18:49:31
They may be linked Ed25 but the prima donnas certainly won't come or indeed would be welcome. There is more to Allardyce than many perceive. He uses every source at his command in order to get the best out of Teams. I am actually looking forward to see how he does with a financial war chest of some substance.

{Ed025's Note - he will attract good players DFS as his record suggests, im sure he will bring discipline and order to the side which is something thats been lacking for a while mate..

2.) 01 Dec 2017 19:16:06
I agree Ed025, my next door neighbor and his dog Whallyfus are being linked. Read it myself in this weeks edition of "Groovy Mutts Weekly"

{Ed025's Note - love it grumpy mate..

3.) 02 Dec 2017 02:17:48
Vardy, Defoe and Rondon are 3 I imagine we will look at.

4.) 03 Dec 2017 02:26:45
To be honest saying benteke is me still wishing we had any striker over the past couple of months, but slimani is no pre madonna I think he would fit right into our system. I keep hearing Kevin gameiro's name mentioned, I'd take him all day.

30 Aug 2017 23:13:00
We have made a loan offer for Thomas vemarlin with the option to buy.

bigduncan

1.) 31 Aug 2017 08:47:05
Thought the treatment room was full already!

2.) 31 Aug 2017 09:54:12
After southern but this late loan is not a bad option. Cover is badly needed. I can't see many other options.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 10:55:25
We could do a lot worse that him if we can keep him fit then him an Keane would be quality, we just need Seamus and yannick back be like 2 new signings.

28 Aug 2017 16:52:50
Sorry to bring it up again ed but you said not long ago there was no chance of costa, in reading today he's signed for athletico and they have loaned him to us. How would that happen if they are banned from transfer business.

bigduncan

{Ed002's Note - What are you reading? Twitter is it?}

1.) 28 Aug 2017 17:04:06
Come on Ed eat humble pie.

{Ed002's Note - So you think Costa has joined Atletico Madrd and they have loaned him to Everton? That is not allowable as I have explained repeatedly. So perhaps rather trying to have a go at me you should spend some time thinking about how stupid you look.}

2.) 28 Aug 2017 17:05:34
Nothing firm but koeman doesn't help when he doesn't give a straight no on the costa topic. I have a feeling it's going to happen but only for 6 months which I don't think we will see the best of him as he's been awol. Are you 100% it's not going to happen. Or do you just think it won't happen?

3.) 28 Aug 2017 17:14:04
No this is apparently true. An alert from fotmob stated it just now.

{Ed002's Note - From now on I think the Everton fans might be best to ask all of their questions on Twitter.}

4.) 28 Aug 2017 17:23:34
as ED02 has explained Madrid can't sign him then loan him to us for 6 months but just say they could would you want him in his current state he has been partying in Brazil since May and it would take a good 4 months to get him fit then for two months he wouldn't be arsed about trying (look at Chelsea last Jan when he wanted to move to china) as he wouldn't want to injure himself before heading back to Spain no thanks not for me in his current state.

{Ed002's Note - If Madrid pay Chelsea for the player but don't register him then Chelsea would loan him to anyone who will pay his wages of course. Else Chelsea would sell him (and there are interested sides but no acceptable quotes and I doubt Costa would accept being sold elsewhere that Atletico.}

5.) 28 Aug 2017 17:24:18
No i'm not having a go and the loan will be from Chelsea.

{Ed002's Note - So why did you right sucjh an absolutely stupid post then?}

6.) 28 Aug 2017 17:27:05
If we want Costa why we just put a bid in for him I don't believe the rumours but why don't we put a bid in there is not even a sniff of this rumour anywhere else but twitter I'm sure Ssn would of picked up on this if Koeman wants him offer the money 💰.

7.) 28 Aug 2017 17:33:51
I think it was only a joke ed. He didn't say anything to provoke you just made a little joke.

8.) 28 Aug 2017 19:53:36
They actually COULD sign Costa, but not register him, allow him to come to Everton on loan, and then register him in January. Waste of time IMO. Take a month to get him fit.

9.) 28 Aug 2017 21:10:47
Athletico could not loan him to Everton as he will not be registered so therefore he is not their player, don't see how this is confusing, let's say you buy a sim card for a phone, you have purchased the card but without registering it onto the network you cannot use it right? Quite simple really, so if Athletico buy Costa from Chelsea the purchase can go through but the paperwork cannot be submitted to Spanish FA or Uefa or anybody else for that matter, any deal needs to be done with the club the player is registered with and that is Chelsea and only Chelsea.
A player must be registered at an association to play for a club
as either a professional or an amateur in accordance with the
provisions of article 2. Only registered players are eligible to
participate in organised football. By the act of registering, a
player agrees to abide by the statutes and regulations of FIFA, the
confederations and the associations.
2. A player may only be registered with one club at a time.
Google is more knowledgeable than Twitter.

10.) 28 Aug 2017 18:14:00
Now now ed were all blues hear, I hope you eat your words and he does sign if it's for the full season 6 months is a waste of wage fund as we wouldn't see the best out of him until probably Christmas. Would you like us to sign costa ed?

{Ed002's Note - What words would these be?}

11.) 28 Aug 2017 18:26:23
Rumours seem to be coming from a Spanish journalist ed after a bit of digging. Not a high level source at all, if it hits sky then I'll start to take notice.

{Ed002's Note - As I have explained (a) Everton can buy Diego Costa from Chelsea and they would be pleased to sell, but I doubt the player would want to move out of his comfort zone of sunny South America or Spain to move to the grim, wet and cobbled streets Northwest of England where there would be a significant cultural change, smog, dead & dying pit ponies laying on the street, little chance of football at the highest level and only chips and fried curry to eat. (b) Loan the player from Chelsea if they have a confirmed buyer.

What can't happen is that Atletico Madrid buy the player and loan him to Everton.

I appreciate that this is something that most of you cannot come to grips with.}

12.) 28 Aug 2017 18:51:00
Think costa is unlikely and it's of obvious concern that he may be grossly unfit! Did anyone else enjoy the irony of ed002 asking why somebody would "right such a stupid post"?!?!

13.) 28 Aug 2017 21:32:49
I see you don't like to be wrong ed don't put people's posts up because your having a bitch fit.

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about? No doubt it is embarrassing.}

14.) 28 Aug 2017 21:35:28
No but they can sell him to athletico an then tel chelsea to loan him to everton as part of the deal.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained over and over what the options are but the Everton fans only care for Twitter.}

15.) 29 Aug 2017 00:32:52
I come on here for the banter and to read other people's thoughts and feelings on Everton, I go to twitter for transfer news as so far (this window anyway) I have heard about all the incomings on there before anywhere else, like just now one of the Twitter guys who I've found to be very reliable has mentioned that costa has agreed to come to us, just waiting for Chelsea to finalise, this guy rarely tweets about players coming but when he does it's usually spot on, only downside is it's for a short term loan which unless we get a permanent cf in aswell Seems pointless to me, great player and will improve us but how many games will he actually play, will take a while to get match fitness sorted, then by time he's up and running we wave bye bye, but we will see.
Not posting this to have a go and take the mick just sharing what I've seen and believe to be correct. Peace out ✌️.

16.) 29 Aug 2017 09:22:31
Ed002 - you fly off the handles so quickly. You're in the know, not everyone understands circumstance like you do. That's not their fault! You try to educate people and you get aggy and offensive when they don't understand. Get a grip.

{Ed002's Note - No, I explain things clearly over and over again but because many of the fans are lemming-like Twitterettes they cannot see beyond what some spotty teenager in Darlington has written. I appreciate that many, as you suggest, don't understand and I do appreciate that most football fans are dumb as a box of rocks. As for your auto-erotic suggestion "get a grip", I will pass on that.}

17.) 29 Aug 2017 10:25:25
Don't take it so personally. I know your response to that is, "I won't" but your comments suggest otherwise. You do have good knowledge though and I'm not taking digs at you. You do a good job. Your comments are emotional on occasion.

{Ed002's Note - I don't get emotional.}

18.) 29 Aug 2017 10:26:05
Most football fans might understand the ins and outs of football dealings but branding them dumb is a bit harsh, even for you!

19.) 29 Aug 2017 10:46:18
I quite like chips and fried curry . just saying.

{Ed002's Note - It really doesn't surprise me GT.}

20.) 29 Aug 2017 13:16:45
Long time listener, first time caller. Shout out to ed002 who has explained the situation perfectly. I can't believe people aren't seeing that Atletico can't loan/ sell/ parttradewiththegoat at any stage until January.

Patience boys, a more permanent target man will arrive or we wait till the next circus.
Cheers ✌️.

21.) 29 Aug 2017 16:31:29
"Maybe its best to ask your questions on twitter" tickled me that :)

17 Aug 2017 11:23:49
Any chance us going in for belloti ed?

bigduncan

{Ed002's Note - None at all Duncan.}

1.) 17 Aug 2017 11:38:35
Any incline or just hear say that where interested in eel rock and are we still interested in benteke?

{Ed002's Note - I am afraid I am struggling with this Duncan.}

2.) 17 Aug 2017 11:58:44
belotti is currently being touted at 100 mill so that probs means he won't be signing for anyone in the prem any time soon. lol, italians have crazy buyout clauses, he just isn't worth the readies imo.

{Ed002's Note - There remains interest from elsewhere but he certainly will not be joining Everton.}

3.) 17 Aug 2017 13:42:37
Sorry ed predicted text, I ment is the interest in welbeck genuine and are we still interested in benteke? Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any approach for either.}

4.) 18 Aug 2017 08:20:48
Ed there has been a roumour on and of about us being intrested in sigining slimani from Leicester city is there any truth to this or just paper talk.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any approach by Everton.}

24 May 2022 11:20:18
We need a midfielder who can control, carry and use the ball, our whole midfield flaps when they get the ball.

Bigduncan

1.) 24 May 2022 18:24:47
We need a new midfield. It's the main reason our defence and possession is so poor.

2.) 24 May 2022 23:49:58
Definatley need a whole new midfield. A ball winner, box to box and creative players needed. Be interesting to see what happens with Gbamin. He played 11 or 12 games out of either 12 or 13. Scored 2 and created 2. Done well at CSKA by all accounts.

3.) 26 May 2022 21:55:06
It will be interesting to see, dentie. He managed a run of games and played well according to the reports. Maybe all he needed was some minutes on the pitch to get his confidence up. We can hope anyway, could save us a few quid if he actually comes good.

02 Nov 2017 19:47:18
I haven't seen us like this since Walter smith he wasn't even this bad.

bigduncan

1.) 02 Nov 2017 20:02:38
I was thinking Mike Walker mate.

2.) 02 Nov 2017 20:19:11
One thing to be grateful for, Unsworth has put the debate about him getting the job full time to bed.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but it may be time to push the panic button and get Fat Sam in.

{Ed025's Note - i have to be honest...i would rather we get relegated than have that ball bag at my club mate..

3.) 02 Nov 2017 20:33:29
I agree Ed, but Unsworth isn't doing us any favours and nobody in a job would leave it for this farce. I would love Silva but he won't come when he's only been at Watford for a few months and has got them doing so well. Dyche would be a solid option but he'd probably think twice as well because something obviously isn't right.

The mood within the team is like when we signed Eto'o and he rubbed everyone up the wrong way.

I can't stand Allardyce but his track record in getting teams out of the sh1t is becoming increasingly attractive on a contract purely until the end of the season.

02 Nov 2017 19:46:59
Schniderlin? What is he ed I hope we have a big clear out in Jan an get things ready for next year.

bigduncan

{Ed002's Note - January is not the time to be rebuilding. get a new coach, get settled, get safe and then look to what needs to be done in the summer.}

1.) 02 Nov 2017 19:56:42
Ed002 Speaks sense BD.

2.) 02 Nov 2017 20:12:00
question ed2
did you see this happening?

{Ed002's Note - Koeman was the wrong guy for the job, I explained about that at the time. A major, major error was in making a scout the Director of Football. Now the club needs a strong character to take over the team.}

3.) 02 Nov 2017 20:26:13
Hopefully Mr Moshri will put his foot down now and see what Ed002 saw at the beginning. Mr Walsh way above his pay grade. Big Joe Royle as DoF with Dyche as long term Manager. Unsy back to U23's.

4.) 02 Nov 2017 20:29:15
cheers for the reply ed and i have to agree with you, i thought that koeman and walsh were the dream team but now i its a turned to a nightmare.

29 Oct 2017 16:28:43
Is it just me that thinks kev mirralas is championship level. Hasn't had a good game since moyes.

bigduncan

1.) 29 Oct 2017 16:38:25
On his day unplayable imo. BUT I think he is generally a lazy player. premiere league ability but second rate attitude a lot of the time.

2.) 29 Oct 2017 17:04:06
If we continue to play like we have of late then they will all be championship players next season.

3.) 29 Oct 2017 17:06:32
Closing up shop taking off Lennon and mirralas at half time should be gambling hoping not to lose by more shocking.

23 Sep 2017 17:17:43
The passion of love big dunc has for are club he has to be are next manager did you see him on niasses goals he was like me in me living room. So happy for oumar needs a start thursday with Dom up top.

bigduncan

1.) 23 Sep 2017 17:35:19
Yes it was great to see. Him and Unsworth for me in a couple of years time, what a team they would make. I think the crowd made Koeman aware of their feelings towards Niasse.

2.) 23 Sep 2017 17:50:33
play both of them as a two up front, they have pace. 3 at the back, Gueye in front of them for protection, with wing backs for width, suguurdson and rooney in the middle. That was a God awful game today, no width until Davis came to life. Koeman needs to drop Klaasen and Scheiderlin to the bench.

3.) 23 Sep 2017 18:26:17
Don't think oumar is in the europa league squad so he can't play thursday.

4.) 23 Sep 2017 19:11:53
Correct ToffeeAl.

5.) 23 Sep 2017 20:02:34
Well that's killed me off al haha, btw I think we are better when Rooney isn't of the pitch we would see a lot more from gylfi that way, wayne should be dropped after everything that's gone on anyway.

Well he can’t play football as he’s never fit, when he does what does he offer apart from a Big jump and the odd tap in.

Ginger Dan I was thinking the same thing about dcl, but I’d get rid of them both and anybody else that wears dresses whilst we’re in a relagation battle again. We need men to stand up and fight for our club on the pitch, an let’s be honest unless it’s a tap in he’s useless.

Also I don't like saying this but when Liverpool produce good performances it's purely down to the fact that they have serous pace, they have it all over the pitch especially the wongs.

We are missing there pace bad, I know we didn't see much of bolasie but he showed us enough to know that he's got everything we are missing alongside seamus, we have had no joy down either wing and personally I think him an lookman switching wings, you would see a totally different and better style of play.
