Let's have a go at the feel good factor type manager like utd, throw dunc in and try get them going, honestly we really couldn't do any worse, seen a stat today silva's teams are 1st hull, Watford 3rd and everton 1st when in charge at conceding at set pieces, obviously stuck in his ways and stubborn, it's not as if it's worked anywhere, no hope for this to be put on like, messaged 4 or 5 on last couple of days and only 1 went on, no probs if this doesn't love to All, life's too short.

I may be alone on this but Dunc is a big no from me, stealing a living at Everton, as are others, but Dunc for me should not even neanywhere near the team, I would certainly draft Alan Stubbs in as a defence coach, big Nev to coach Pickford, but a big no no for Ferguson.

2.) 04 Feb 2019 18:10:31
No thanks, forget sentiment let's do this properly for once.

3.) 04 Feb 2019 18:33:38
I think stealing a living is a bit harsh bignev. I’m sure he works hard for his living but agree that with results since he’s been around not being good enough something different would be welcome. Having Southall coach Pickford is a no brainer for me, why hasn’t he been drafted in earlier though? My goodness I could make a heap load of suggestions but what do I really know. If the club want to give Silva time then I’ll go along with it. Another expression for patience is long suffering. It really feels like that right now.

4.) 04 Feb 2019 19:00:42
stealing a living IS RIGHT bignev,

5.) 04 Feb 2019 19:12:49
Explain why he's stealing a living, so opinionated for such obvious lask of any real knowledge.

6.) 04 Feb 2019 19:58:19
I would like to see Alan Irvine back on the coaching staff.

7.) 04 Feb 2019 20:20:40
I'd have Alan partridge on the coaching staff at the moment.

8.) 04 Feb 2019 20:31:34
If I were taking over a business (and I’ve had a few) then one of my first tasks would be to clear out the old boy network. Get young blood in with energy and a positive attitude, and a clear understanding of what I want to achieve.
Get the business running properly and at a profit, then sell it for a nice profit.

9.) 04 Feb 2019 21:21:39
Everyone wants rid of the old boys haha no one wants rid of unsworth do they 4 pnts clear at top of table flying with 23s he's an old boy as you put it, cnt pick and choose u want rid of the old boys or u take people on there merit.

10.) 04 Feb 2019 21:41:59
If anyone's stealing its most of the first team.

11.) 04 Feb 2019 21:54:52
I’d take moyse back need that team ethic he brought and look what he did at West Ham we need the dogs of war back but he still knew how to play with flair he’s finally have money to spend.

12.) 04 Feb 2019 22:32:36
It’s a business Johny, there’s no room for sentiment. As for Unsworth, yes he’s doing a good job. But how many have come through from that squad?

{Ed025's Note - how many have been given a proper chance though woburn?..

13.) 04 Feb 2019 22:57:27
The current manager has made it clear he is not interested in the younger players, if they might be good he sends them on loan. Bad management.

14.) 04 Feb 2019 23:22:26
Woburn it's not unsworth job to get them in the first team it's his job to have them ready and winning there league the other year and looking like doing it again this year means we have the best youth players in the country it's not his fault the managers dnt give them a go. It's not sentiment if there doing there job is it, go on let's sack all former players then let's get rid of the best manager in u23 football just because u want a clear out of the old boys get a grip mate it is a business and in business you hire people on there merit not who the used to work for.

15.) 05 Feb 2019 09:46:56
Johns don't be fooled that just because we are top of the U23 league that we have the best youth players. Many clubs loan out there youth players, and an awful lot of what you see are U18s.
By the way I recall when Kenny was given a go people on here were moaning he's not ready shouldn't be near the first team. You can't have it both ways.

16.) 05 Feb 2019 09:48:28
By the way, if you hired them on their merit, then most of them wouldn't be there now.

17.) 05 Feb 2019 10:51:41
Have we not loaned out our best U23s too? Williams dowell evans beni connelly? And he still produces table topping teams, so u want dunc and dave gone because there jobs for there boys even tho there both good at there jobs makes no sense at all.

18.) 05 Feb 2019 19:49:46
Is there any point in any manager throwing in one of the kids? Especially if they are local boys, the crowd just make them a scapegoat when things aren't going well.
We haven't been in a position to give them a game under the last few managers as, in general, we have been in a right mess. No good throwing in a kid when the chips are down, that's the way most managers would look at it. Look at every team in the league and, although there will be a few exceptions, most youth players don't make it until they are over 21. Crazy but true, the way it's going we will never see another Rooney or a Gerrard come through so young in this league.

19.) 08 Feb 2019 18:55:34
By old boys, I know who Woburn is talking about and I agree.

09 Aug 2018 17:19:24
Another incoming any idea who it Is?

Bjarkster007

{Ed025's Note - gomez?, zouma?..

1.) 09 Aug 2018 17:44:27
I think it was on top of gomes.

2.) 09 Aug 2018 17:48:38
I'm that buzzing about what we've done I bet I could beat usain bolt in a race right now haha.

13 Jul 2018 07:23:26
Just seen we've apparently had a bid of 30mil for doucoure from Watford turned down, good player but in my opinion need to stay well clear of any Watford player, they'll well and truly have our pants down.

I see Cardiff had agreed a fee of around 15million for sala, apparently pulling out because they've now cone back and said it's more like 17-18million, fantastic news that if we're to put a bid in, definitely worth a punt at that price, merry Xmas blues I'm off now to pack my case for sunny Australia.

I think we could do with s change of management. javi gracia anyone?

Bjarkster007

1.) 02 Sep 2018 19:07:50
If you are being serious then you are missing a few very important brain cells. If you are taking the mick, then it is in poor taste.

2.) 02 Sep 2018 19:23:25
A change of management are you having a laugh, daftest thing I have read on here for a while.

3.) 03 Sep 2018 00:41:16
Surely just a nod to Watford’s great start to the season. Where’s the sense of humour gone lads?

4.) 03 Sep 2018 05:52:38
It's was obviously banter as blue79 pointed out lads chill out.

{Ed001's Note - surely the fact it was a Watford manager having a great start should have made people realise it was a joke. Do they not remember what happened with Silva last season?}

5.) 03 Sep 2018 17:19:09
The response to a obvious joke was embarrassing, how on earth that could be seen in bad taste as well is mind boggling, didn't realise it was serious banter only on this site sorry.

6.) 03 Sep 2018 19:54:09
Just like most set pieces this season. it went staight over the Blues' heads!

7.) 03 Sep 2018 20:02:56
Be careful Bjarkster, banter is often scorned at and labelled embarrassing ourselves on here.

Seems the art of wit, banter and debates is heading towards the film 1984 by some contributors on a banter page.

Me, I love banter and reading other posts without the fear of other posters being put on the naughty step, or shot down in flames.

8.) 03 Sep 2018 21:10:50
I wonder if Elton fancies singing on our new stadium opening night?

{Ed025's Note - i think he would blow us out john...just like a candle in the wind..

9.) 04 Sep 2018 17:03:16
Blow would be in there somewhere.

10.) 04 Sep 2018 18:39:40
😂😂😂.

11.) 04 Sep 2018 20:36:08
If he’s still around let’s go for Paul McCartney, if he can play a set across the Park then he owes us Blues one.

Maximum publicity, being able to have a concert at our new ground, think this would sink some Reds with a new stadium and Macca topping the opening night bill.

29 Aug 2018 19:36:03
Any links for the game tonight? Can't be bothered putting my dodgy box on to get stressed out searching for it haha.

14 Jul 2018 17:51:07
22-0 who's aus we need signings lol.

Bjarkster007

1.) 14 Jul 2018 23:10:47
Just think, under Allerdyce we scored 27 goals, were only 5 short after 90 mins in charge with silva.

14 Jul 2018 17:45:26
Not a bad start to silvas reign 19-0 up I don't think we need to sign anyone lol.

Bjarkster007

1.) 14 Jul 2018 22:08:24
Beat someone then I will get excited. IF we are beating a team 22 nil in preseason then the person organising needs his/ her rear end kicking.

2.) 15 Jul 2018 09:17:26
Why ktf?

It’s a step up from an internal training game.

He's also said big dunc was getting replaced by Graham stuart, our top targets where lanzini and mandzukic and michael o Neil was nailed on for managers job so I think that pretty much answers that.

I don't think we'd be any worse off and certainly could have had a too striker with the dosh we've blown on managers since.

Don't suppose there is a special circumstances route to get him? That being we're rubbish and can't score for toffee haha.

Bjarkster007

{Ed002's Note - I don't see him as a "special talent".}
