Hi Ed’s, heard anything on Kamaldeen links? Kid didn’t play much in WC and not a lot of game time for Rennes but … given it could be a loan and the kid is quick and I mean rapid, might work with our 5 at the back set up ??‍♂️.
I know he is another winger and not a creative midfielder but still I think worth the gamble!

Blu1

{Ed002's Note - Kamaldeen Sulemana (LW) Rennes will let Sulemana move on in order to keep Martin Terrier and to raise funds. Not having an agent killed off the chance of a move to Ajax last year. Rennes will let him leave on a loan with an obligation to buy deal. Option to Elye Wahi for Everton and an option to Alex Baena for Nice.}

1.) 16 Jan 2023 21:25:13
Thanks Ed, much appreciated.

Anyone else heard that the 'exclusivity' agreement has lapsed and nor been renewed? . Obviously doesn't mean deal is dead but not what I was expecting tbh. Wonder if there are other interesting parties?

Blu1

1.) 01 Jul 2022 18:30:46
If you believe what you read then their are three other parties interested. What will be will be.

2.) 01 Jul 2022 19:11:40
3 other Parties, obviously only those involved know for sure but have you heard any ‘Rumours’ of who those interested parties could be Woburn?

3.) 01 Jul 2022 21:26:30
Surely if you were selling anything you’d want the best offer?

Therefore is it any surprise that Moshiri is wanting to listen to other offers?

If the alleged 3 other offers aren’t to his liking I imagine if he does want to sell he’d go back to Kenton consortium but may have burnt that bridge.

4.) 01 Jul 2022 22:57:53
Who knows Dan… I think he’ll want to hold on to the club. As long as he stops meddling with the transfers and delivers a stadium to boost our income then we may be alright with Moshiri. Though if you look at his track record so far, that is unlikely to happen.

5.) 01 Jul 2022 23:33:30
I have no idea blu1.

6.) 02 Jul 2022 00:11:03
There are plenty of interested parties but Moshiri doesn't want to sell. He wants an investor not a buyer.
He'll still own the club when we move.
The American analysts will be proven right and prem clubs will rocket in worth in the next 5 years. Some say the price will double.
Moshiri has made some diabolical decisions buy selling now would be by far the worst.

7.) 02 Jul 2022 13:43:03
We’re in the same boat as we were before. First it was Kenwright refusing to sell unless he was kept on as Chairman and now Moshiri wants investment, so someone to buy his shares but leave him involved. Th of them have been a disaster for us so can imagine that makes it very unattractive to would be buyers.

Hi Edd (S) et al, more of a question and opinion tbh but given that Roma have paid 35mil for TA I am really surprised that we still have MK on our books. Now I am making sweeping presumptive I thoughts here I know but given he is Italian and it seems rather rated back in Italy I just find it a little strange that Roma didn’t come calling? So Ed’s any thoughts or info on MK further to what you have already posted regarding him? - thanks as always.

Blu1

{Ed002's Note - Roma had no interest at all in Kean - that is way they didn't make an offer.

Moise Kean (S) Needs to move on as soon as possible - PSG or Juventus will offer options. PSG want a loan with an option to buy and that may be possible but is not really what Everton want due to their serious financial difficulties. His agent wants to try to find a way to have him return to Turin at some point and sees Inter as a possible stepping stone to Juventus - but Inter have other preferred targets, although they could potentially look to a loan to buy deal if they are unable to sign the players they prefer - but his agent is pushing.}

1.) 18 Aug 2021 13:26:23
Thanks Ed, I hoping he gets sold and the funds are given to Rafa!

24 Aug 2020 21:22:43
Hi Ed’s, sorry if this has been asked / answered already but I did have a quick look Q: Do you know what the situation is with Sandro Ramirez? There is nothing to say he has returned to The country let alone the club or pre-season training.

Blu1

{Ed002's Note - He was priced out of the move he wanted. I really don’t know where he is.}

1.) 24 Aug 2020 21:40:51
Cheers Ed, thought it was strange that as one of our ‘huger paid’ players that the local papers never seem to mention him anymore. I can’t imagine we wanted a return on him (7mil was he? ) but I expect we wanted half that at least on top of his wages off the books. Hey ho, another marvellous transfer that has gone our way 🙈.

2.) 24 Aug 2020 22:07:34
I don’t know if this is true or if this sort of thing is even possible but I read he has a clause in his contract that he can’t be loaned out in the last year of his contract unless it includes an option to buy.

3.) 25 Aug 2020 15:04:12
Hi Blue, Everton and Real Valladolid eventually reached an agreement, but it seems it was Ramírez making sacrifices that made it happen.

According to Pucela Fichajes, he earns around €5m per year at Everton, but they claim, citing journalist Christina Bea, that the striker has foregone a ‘significant amount’ from that total to ensure his short-term stay in Spain.

How much he’s given up isn’t mentioned, but it seems likely to be a reasonably high one as it’s stated that his full salary is ‘unattainable’ for Real Valladolid.

What remains to be seen is whether he’s willing to do the same to secure a permanent exit from Everton this summer.

It’s been made clear that Valladolid can’t afford his current packet or anything near for that matter, nor can they afford Everton’s demands for a deal.

If Ramírez is willing to take a permanent pay cut, though, that could open the door to a deal and let Everton get rid of a player they’ve made clear they don’t want. hope this helps.

4.) 25 Aug 2020 22:48:25
Thanks BigNev, I pretty much new some of that and thanks for filling the gaps in etc. but he ain’t with Valladolid currently and hasn’t returned to us like Kenny, Besic and Bolasie is my understanding? I wonder where he is then and why no return?

5.) 26 Aug 2020 00:36:09
Doubt we can even give him a free transfer, see him winding his contract down onloan, while still taking a big chunk from Everton.

27 Jul 2018 20:58:42
Lookman and Walcott not travelled with the squad to France today due to ‘injuries’ . anyone else smell a rat? This story that came out that we rested Lookman when RB Leipzig has sent a scout to watch against Bury? Anyone else think. you have had the lad for the best part of 5 months, why on Earth are you sending a scout to watch him ‘potentially’ play in a pre-season friendly? Is it just me folks or can anyone male any sense of all this?

Blu1

{Ed025's Note - sounds a bit fishy to me blu..

1.) 27 Jul 2018 21:21:09
Hi Ed . any thoughts? Or Ideas what could be going on, I’d even listed to conspiracy theories at the moment 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣.

{Ed025's Note - things will become clearer next week blu, we are guessing at the moment mate but the lookman issue does not seem to be going away so that is a concern..

2.) 27 Jul 2018 21:43:46
Just let him go if he wants to, or anybody else for that matter. It was said about Klaassen earlier, Koeman, Unsworth, Allardyce and now Silva and the kid (Lookman) obviously can not get any guarantees. If he came through our youth system he would have been long gone but because we paid a decent fee I think we have false hope for him.

3.) 27 Jul 2018 22:02:19
Part of me agrees with that but given our precarious defending capabilities, I'd have thought we should at least protect the creative capabilities we currently have. which lookman is a very big part of imo. at the moment the squad is actually weaker than last season. Mori gone, Rooney (top scorer) gone. there is still time left and I'm positive we'll sign at least 2 more players, but I'd like to see us bring in players before we consider offloading anyone else.

4.) 27 Jul 2018 22:20:46
Jcl I don't 100% want him to leave I just feel we had so many reported divisions in the squad last season it maybe time to ship out players who have a higher opinion of themselves than is true. The guy scored on his debut when he went to Germany, went about 8 games without scoring and finished the season on fire when other players were knackered/ already on their holidays. People say we underachieved last year, did we? Or have we just got a load of average, overpriced prima donnas? Obvious players excluded from that criticism.

5.) 27 Jul 2018 22:35:51
U make some good observations. on gut alone I think he is going to be class and we've struggled creatively. I'd like this lad to b given a chance with us.

6.) 27 Jul 2018 21:34:11
Agree Ed, if it means we can bring others in that want to play for us and more importantly improve us then ok, I wait with intrigue and hope 🤞 Thanks as always.

{Ed025's Note - no problem mate..

Just watched the full SD presser. One thing that stood out for me which certainly sits well with me is his repeated comment around ‘earn respect’
I mentioned this with our new signings as I very much always start from this basis, whilst still supporting, they need to earn my respect before I give blind loyalty to them just because they pull on a blue shirt. I like what I am hearing let’s see if we see a change on the pitch ?.

Blu1

1.) 02 Feb 2023 21:20:37
Yep watched it all myself. He does come across very well and impressive, like how he showed Frank respect in not belittling his methods etc. Does bring some optimism to the table, kind of shame our next 2 games are what they are but heyhoo imagine if we actually won 1!

As he says it is critically important for our club to all get behind him and the time now more than ever, we all know the shambles that have gone on in the past but none of this is Dyches doing. Give the bloke a chance, its all about survival this season, it might not be pretty or the so called modern way but if we are sat 17th come that final whistles on last day am sure we'd all take that. UTFT COYB. ?.

2.) 02 Feb 2023 23:54:04
He's an honest guy. Openly admitted if we were higher he would not be here. He said I'm a marmite manager. Well let's hope we all like marmite soon. I works in Burnley and know many of the Burnley fans held him in high esteem. There is even a pub named after him. The Royal Dyche I think it's called. I think the players will take to him.

3.) 03 Feb 2023 00:51:38
Burnley fans love him, that bodes well for me when people compare him to Allardyce.

4.) 03 Feb 2023 09:08:08
If he completes his main task which must be to retain our PL status he will be more than a ''marmite'' manager here because his honesty alone puts him head and shoulders above SA.

31 Jan 2023 21:49:49
I know it’s not Everton but Fulham now have x5 players in on loan at the same time…. Please someone tell me the rules ?.

Blu1

{Ed025's Note - it’s complicated Blu. It depends on whether they are loan to buy, age can make a difference and nationality. It’s very complicated mate and I certainly don’t know all the answers mate..

1.) 31 Jan 2023 22:05:01
Could someone explain the rules to Thelwell and the board?

2.) 31 Jan 2023 22:16:05
Thanks Ed ??.

{Ed025's Note - no problem mate..

21 Jan 2023 15:59:16
Fellow blues, hope this message goes through (at the game) , but looked off side the first goal for sure?
We are dominating possession but again no shots and i'm sorry but we are shocking at the back, anyone who tells me we are stronger at the back is wrong. On paper we might be but this defence is no better than last year.

Blu1

1.) 21 Jan 2023 16:08:40
Promising signs at the begging on the season. Confidence is absolutely shot. Team expect to lose. We knew this a month ago and the board have dithered, missing out on an opportunity to gather points against the bottom teams in the league. Unforgivable.

Blu1, so your calling for Keane and Holgate to start at the back for next game.

4.) 21 Jan 2023 19:03:17
Not off side mate.

11 Jan 2023 22:58:45
Hi Ed’s (and all fellow Blues) just wondered if anyone else has heard a ‘rumour’ that we are actually in the process of being sold? i. e. the relevant NDA signed and due diligence being undertaken be interested party?

Blu1

{Ed025's Note - nothing concrete blue but there is talk of us looking for an investor rather than a takeover mate..

1.) 11 Jan 2023 23:07:24
Could be that Ed, I’ve heard it twice this week that’s all that there are things happening on that front (not that it helps in any way shape or form) it’s just I wondered if anyone else had also.
Whatever happens I hope it’s a change for the better as I know some fans are saying it can’t get worse but I’m like you Ed…. It can. It’s called the Championship ?.

{Ed025's Note - it certainly is blu mate..

2.) 11 Jan 2023 23:18:31
If Moshiri thinks there’s anyone as stupid as he was to invest cash but let the current board continue to wreck the club, then he’s even more deluded than I thought.

3.) 12 Jan 2023 09:40:43
Depends on the level of investment he is looking for. He wants to retain control (my belief (just a suspicion) Usmanov isn't far away) , which makes potential investment a problem. Does due diligence come into play - books -?

4.) 12 Jan 2023 13:20:39
Look at Moshri's track record as majority share holder. Why would anyone invest their money and allow Moshri to retain majority share and still have free reign? Coupled with the looming possibility of relegation there are 2 massive reasons that would put off any investors.

01 Sep 2022 21:50:37
Right…. I’m looking for some help here fellow Blues to get my little negativity removed from overall a good window.
By all accounts we are still in for Diaz but not willing to pay 15mins, let’s say for Arguments sake we have 10mil. Add that 10 million to the 17.5 (Maupay) and 15 (McNeil) let’s be conservative and say that’s 40mil.
I am so please with all our other purchases but I’d rather we had purchased a 30-40mil attacking player.
Talk me round folks please ….

Blu1

1.) 01 Sep 2022 22:11:12
Needed to strengthen midfield, we have now done that. Still have Gordon and DCL when fit.
Still a chance another striker in before window closes.
Hang in there.

2.) 01 Sep 2022 22:19:51
And that one player gets injured and…….

3.) 01 Sep 2022 22:24:20
Im just as happy with our outgoings as much as our incomings. We are much better squad than we were 6 months ago.
As of 10.20pm we don't have another striker. That could change, but i wouldn't let that ruin your view of this window. Midfield boosted. Defence boosted. New striker in Maupay. DCL back soon.
We haven't spent big money on flops. Weve spent it rather wisely.
Dont let the misery guts online who try n tell you we are going to do badly.
The window opens again after xmas.
We're going to be fine.

4.) 01 Sep 2022 22:32:20
It really has to do with payment options.
For P/ s we can write the cost down ove the contract length but, and its a big but, we have to pay the fee in the instalments that are agreed with the club we are buying from.
So the cash has to be there to pay the initial payments and has to come from the club or from a third party.

{Ed002's Note - No, you misunderstand.}

5.) 01 Sep 2022 22:37:24
Cmon Smit get it right mate.

6.) 01 Sep 2022 22:39:40
I agree. Considering ffp issues extremely good window - Coady and Tarks massively improve defence. Gueye, Garner and Onana all massively improve midfield. Maupay strengthens attack.
Extra plus Gordon hasn’t been sold. Hopefully, he’ll now sign new contract so we can get maximum price if he does go.
COYB!

7.) 01 Sep 2022 22:48:52
That made me lol Gb.

8.) 01 Sep 2022 22:53:19
I'd like to think I know how it works ?.

{Ed002's Note - Wait a couple of weeks and ask me.}

9.) 01 Sep 2022 23:03:21
Once it's on TMS it'll be out there.
Not sure Ed002 will reveal it as he's not done so for any other player before on here.
Maybe he will?

10.) 01 Sep 2022 23:32:12
All good points thanks all! @Southern I’m basically saying the Richy replacement… if that player got injured then …Gordon or Gray or Iwobi as by the looks of it central mid is now well sorted with Onana, IGG, Doucoure etc.
Fair point though ?.

11.) 01 Sep 2022 23:47:13
There hasn't been a Richarlison replacement. Maupay plays on the left but us no Richarlison. On Richarlison, we need to look at ourselves, gone from us to happy to be a bench player.

12.) 02 Sep 2022 07:23:07
How do you know he’s happy to be on the bench?

Ant, I agree but what I can’t get my head around is the levels. Have you seen what happened a Roma the other week with Ultras outside players houses shouting all kinds of obscenities, (happens more than we know as well in Italy) The Boca and River fans can also walk that line on passion / out of order. In terms of comparison no one would ever sign for these clubs yet so so much being made out of out (small minority) idiotic fans ??‍♂️.

Really strange as the Guardian are running the story from an independent source. The Mail have already come out to deny it. Our club is so mad!
For my opinion I think if the right offer came in he would sell but I’m not convinced that we are ‘actively’ looking for a buyer. No way Everton allow that video to air if there are fundamental changes to the narrative, surely not ??‍♂️.

Loved Richy FBS, but give me the Everton Lukaku all day over him …. Get your sentiment though it’s just hits different this season as a lot of people are exhausted with it all and the teams around us seem to be playing more positive football and risking it in games for the 3 points rather than keeping it tight and trying to get a set piece goal.

I don’t think he is happier Woburn, I think that the lad backed himself (and rightly so) to break into that Spurs team, go live in the Capital, play in arguably the best Stadium in the division and cement his place as Brazils no9 by not playing for a relegation fighting team anymore.
If you remember what he said when he left it was something around the ‘lack of ambition’ from the club.

Take him back in a heartbeat.
