The Utd match proved to me that Duncan is not a 'one game wonder' he is at the very least the very best caretaker manager we could possibly have at this moment in time. Yes the 'MK sub and subbed' affair will be a talking point with the 'footy chattering classes' however they will always find a reason to gripe!

DF to me was what we needed to carry us out of this mess and thank heavens EFC have someone on the touchline that cares with intensity like this.

1.) 16 Dec 2019 10:40:01
Could not agree more Blue247,True passion Big Dunc.

2.) 16 Dec 2019 13:19:56
Fantastic job by Big Dunc. We have a good chance of getting a further six points from our next two league games. Arsenal are a mess right now and we should beat Burnley at home. Beat Leicester on Wednesday and one should ask "why not give the managerial job to Ferguson for the rest of the season"?

The only person who is available right now who might be better is Ancelotti because of his experience and ability to recruit players, the rest of the managerial offering you can keep especially Moyes.

According to the 'Citeh' site

It's maybe Bony for Stones??

Really, how about Aiden McGeady a marvelous player that we would miss like crazy, for another player instead, OK a step down but hey we are just so dizzy when it comes to straight swaps let's say errrm Kevin De Bruyne . . . you must have seen us coming!

1.) 30 Jun 2016 08:42:24
Need to get the drug testers to city, Bony swap for Stones, obviously taking something.

2.) 30 Jun 2016 11:50:09
They can have some stones from my garden as long as they pay Bony's wages.

3.) 30 Jun 2016 13:35:37
It's Bony plus 20k for Stones still not a good deal.

4.) 30 Jun 2016 13:44:04
20k? I do hope you mean 20m! What the difference a letter can make.

According to 'Football Insider'

''Everton sent scouts to watch Newcastle's Georginio Wijnaldum with a view to making a move for the attacker, according to a report.

Koeman is reported to be on the verge of a move to Everton to become their new manager and is thought to be a big admirer of his compatriot. ''.

Marc Overmars DOF?

Interesting!

23 May 2016 11:52:24
Meeting with Emery 'arranged'

Mmmm sounds good!

1.) 23 May 2016 12:08:20
Looking at his stats 5th, 5th and 7th (this season) looks on a par with Moyes. Think I would rather Pellegrini to be honest.

2.) 23 May 2016 12:36:08
dont forget Bill he has had 2 huge cup runs mate where he won the Europa for a 3rd consecutive time and got beat in CDR by Barcelona, these 3 years of great cup runs/ wins would damage league positions with a club like Sevilla as hardly as if they have a huge squad, if you look at it that way then no brainer for me mate, oh yeh he battered the Koppites too which is a bonus but even without that he looks a great prospect, if it happens I hope he ravages that Sevilla side as some cracking players there.

3.) 23 May 2016 14:17:13
Bill, why on earth do you want Pellegrini?

4.) 23 May 2016 17:30:48
Emery didn't just batter the Koppites, he made them cry!
That'll do for me!

5.) 23 May 2016 20:07:36
No-one made the kopites cry more than pardew but we wouldn't want him.

Good morning fellow Blues and what a lovely morning it is, I don't know why but it almost feels like springtime instead of autumn I might even pop next door and spread this good feeling with our red neighbours, you know this feeling of joie de vivre Ah yes I bet they would welcome me with open arms 🤣.

{Ed025's Note - love it 247..

1.) 05 Oct 2020 08:32:58
been getting grief every monday from son in law since restart. Very quiet this morning. May have to pop round later make sure he is okay.

{Ed025's Note - send him a get well card BCT.. :)

30 Nov 2019 08:50:17
@BCT, The only way we don't get relegated with 'Marco' is because we 'may' 'could' 'possibly' 'By Chance Only' be ending up the 4th worst team in the PL .

If that was possible to predict then yes I 'might' risk it and agree with you!

1.) 30 Nov 2019 16:52:36
4th from bottom now. You have to wonder what it is going to take. It is possible we get nothing from next 5 games. That leaves a new Manager with a heck of a job. Bring him in now and yes it is a baptism of fire but also allows him to assess where the weaknesses are prior to January Window.

2.) 30 Nov 2019 17:10:14
Couldn't agree more BCT.

3.) 30 Nov 2019 18:21:49
Seems to be coming a bit of a routine this now.

24 Nov 2019 10:47:06
''We will have better days'' 'Farhad Moshiri' 23/ 11/ 19 speaking post match Everton v Norwich .

I have got my optimistic head on as I type, and prefer to believe that was meant as a 'don't worry I watched this sickening performance and the 'Taxi' is on it's way!

If the decision to sack Marco hasn't been made plus plans to replace him in process I would be extremely worried now.

Moyes, Hughes And Benitez are the names at the forefront atm?

I personally don't think the choices should be so limited surely?

1.) 24 Nov 2019 13:25:05
Well Blue if Morishi's advisors stopped looking in the Big Boys Book for Football Managers 2000-2010 they might come up with some better names than what they are giving him now. All that money and looking in the gutter. The EPL and CL are huge revenues and to be there you need the best. Any name really other than a top manager sends a signal out. We want to survive in the Premiership. I am for giving a young manager who is ready for a move up a chance, but not tried and tested failures that are being mentioned now.

2.) 24 Nov 2019 13:48:38
''a young manager who is ready for a move up a chance,

Nick, Dyche and Howe could tick a lot of boxes imo .

3.) 24 Nov 2019 14:28:45
I did think Dyche at one time Blue but worry he is a bit ala Big Sam. Howe seems to play the better style but his defensive thinking needs beefing up with a good defensive coach. Could both handle big name players as we would need them to be regular top 4-6. Would Howes wife like Costa del Liverpool over Riviera Bournemouth.

4.) 24 Nov 2019 16:13:23
Howe is an clever organiser working on a limited budget mate he has never had the sort of chance Marco (Buster Keaton) Silva is currently having so I have to disagree with the 'Big Sam' comparison.
If Pep can go and live in sunny Manchester Nick, something tells me Eddie and his lovely missus (creep creep) would consider Glorious Merseyside .

5.) 24 Nov 2019 16:18:55
Didn't Howe last 15 days at Burnley before going back south?

6.) 24 Nov 2019 16:21:28
Correction Dyche ''is a clever organiser'' my apologies to those scratching their heads .

23 Nov 2019 17:02:06
No knee jerk reactions from me here because I do not do them!

However this is crossing the rubicon in terms of proof of etc.

Proved he finds it impossible to cope in the PL against what multilaterally are regarded as inferior opponents at Goodison .

Proof he prepares and organises teams incorrectly .
Proof he doesn't know his best 11

Proof now that his teams don't believe in him.

BTW this team should be vilified yes, however not for the purpose of detracting their managers critics .

29 Sep 2019 12:07:02
Well I must say a spark of fighting spirit was there to be seen last night, and yes it's nice DCL gets on the scoresheet .
Whether Dominic is the answer not so sure?
Maybe if 'Marco's' team gets more points on the road the rest will all fall into place .
I am sure he's working on it, he has to!

1.) 29 Sep 2019 14:09:39
Why hasn't he been sacked yet.

2.) 29 Sep 2019 15:02:56
If Moshiri fired him now, that would put us in 'revolving door workplace' club type, and I would think that is something we should avoid as 'the Big Sam appreciation society' aka soccer saturday pundits including the treasurer Chris Kamara to wax lyrical about how crazy we were etc etc. getting rid of him!
Plus the press and anyone else who fancies themselves to be a 'Great Swami' of football.
We all know this is a results game cliche or not it's the truth, so we get the improved form or we get more of the same !
If it's the latter he's gone by xmas . It really is about what Marco's true calibre is full stop mate .

3.) 29 Sep 2019 16:50:01
Silva hasn't been sacked for the same reason Lampard, Emery and Solskjaer haven't we are only 7 games into the season.

4.) 29 Sep 2019 19:31:57
difference is Emery will get it right, Lampard too. Solskjaar will go as like Silva his CV is pants. Silva will not in fact cannot get it right.

5.) 29 Sep 2019 20:15:14
Emery, Lampard and OGS will need to do a lot more before I can safely predict their success or lack of in the way you just did DFS. I take my hat off to your prophetic prowess.

As I keep on saying. The table come Christmas will tell a better story than it does now. I’ll wait until for a clearer picture.

He spends a lot of training time with Dom and Richarlison so maybe Carlo has him in the plans mate, though when and where will be interesting.

And Ed, I don't think Ollie Watkins had PL experience too mate, it's amazing that some players from the English lower leagues can play in the English 'top flight' without too much difficulty yet 'fancy dans' with over hyped reps. from continental top flights some times look like total interlopers .

{Ed025's Note - i totally agree 247, and you know that english football suits them mate..

I agree Lancer he came on Marco's shift, I am not sure the present management would be as welcoming to what increasingly looks like 'faux potential' and a bunch of baloney mate.

Monkeymad do you honestly think he is the best ever ch in the PL?

Before you answer think whether or not Murphy should be wobbling his head, because as pundits go he's 'not' often on the money (being polite) .
